It’s really not a place anyone is comfortable doing a full shopping, it’s a joke in there! It’s messy, dirty and just plain crowded. I literally get clostophobic in there just running in for one or two items. I am surprised that MB even allows this store to operate under these conditions and not want to bring it up to the standards of the other stores regardless of space!!! I drive to NH over going here.

This is the crappiest MB around the aisles are soooo small that a big guy such as myself has to dance around everyone while a shop I’m talking tarantella here kid! It’s like half the size of the other MBs what gives?

The store is small, crowded, difficult to navigate because of tables in the aisles(as you walk in there are 3 tables of baked goods blocking the path towards the dairy aisle), dirty and there is no logic to how things are laid out. Salsa is on one side of the store and chips are on the other also the parking lot is difficult to get in and out of. That being said it’s conveniently near my home so I’ve often bit the bullet and shop there. Last night was the last straw and I will not go there anymore unless I’m desperate. It was busy there were 3 checkouts open not including the express aisle. The 12 items or less had no line… the other checkouts had short lines but the customers all had full carts. I had 16 items in my cart and was told I couldn’t go through by the cashier. I went over to another line, and waited. At one point the cashier in the express aisle was waiting on a customer and she looked over at me with that look that gave me the impression she was talking about me. I thought to hell with this and left my cart right there and walked out. Seriously… there are MANY times when I’ve waited behind someone sneaking through extra items and been told they aren’t allowed to say anything to the customer. I am DONE! Stop & Shop is right down the street, they have a logical layout of their merchandise, the place is big and roomy and even when it’s crowded you don’t have to play chicken with your fellow shoppers. On top of that they have self-checkout which is far more convenient.

Each time I visit this Market Basket location, I end up disliking it more and more. So tiny and crowded, you can barely push your cart down the aisles. As crowded as it is, people think it’s a good idea to bring all of their screaming kids and let them run amok while they disappear somewhere in the store. Since when did MB become your babysitter? They also need to improve stocking. Too many times I went home without products I needed because they were out of stock. Rude, pushy people, tiny store. needless to say, I am not a fan of this location… Thank goodness for the new location in Salem, NH!

This location is very small — the parking lot and inside the store. They have the tiniest produce section. The layout is terrible, with the frozen food aisles by the bakery and running perpendicular to the rest of the aisles. It’s hard to navigate, and it makes the store feel even more crowded than it is.

I go to Market Basket in Tewksbury or Wilmington mostly. I live in North Andover and have been to this one several times. It is great for people watching but not for actual grocery shopping. Their produce section has little to none fresh veg/ People bring their sister, mother, 5 kids, step brother and their 2 kids with them and clog up the isles. People are yelling, kids are screaming, nobody has manners. It’s a literal shit show here.

Worst MB! The store is small, impossible to push a carriage thru. Parking lot stinks. Small hba section. No bakery. Not a fan at all.

Only 2 stars cuz this place is small and a total zoo. All the same great prices, but small narrow isles, and one is constantly having to say excuse me. I have been spoiled by the newer bigger MB stores. This store does not have a seafood counter or in store bakery. They do have bread and some seafood that they ship in from other stores. The parking lot is crowded too. I hope MB finds a bigger store to move to. Maybe the S&S next door will close someday soon?
