GameStop has a nice selection of new and pre-​owned games at decent prices. With that being said, I don’t appreciate misleading advertisement and other questionable business practices. I visited the store tonight, and there was a sign right across the 3DS games that said «Buy One Get One 50% Off Pre-​Owned Electronics». I assumed it meant the games, because the sign was right there. I chose two games but put one back when I found out it wasn’t half off.
Also, while I was in the store, a man came in with two games he wanted to sell to the store. He wanted cash back for one and credit for the other. He was told that he had to get cash back for both or get store credit for both; however, he could come back the next day with one of the two games if he wanted the transactions handled differently. This makes no sense.
