I love this place. I enjoy the option of putting my own toppings on the burger, or on the side of my plate, as well as the condiments. The potato wedge fries are delicious and so are the shakes. I wish it were a tad bit cheaper, but sometimes they have 2/$ 20 deals. The whole restaurant is decked out in a «back in the day» photo collage memoir. I enjoyed sitting in the Marilyn Monroe corner a few times!

The management has let this place go down hill quickly — Waited 5 minutes at the register before anyone noticed; gave us the wrong flavor shake and then corrected it with a glass that was half empty; food was cold; floors dirty. All while employees were hanging on counters chatting. Won’t be back to this location.

This is probably the best one around. The burgers are cooked to order. Not dried out by over pressing and lightly seasoned. Fries are great. Whole sliced potatoes with seasoning. And I’ve never been served ones that are sitting under a warmer at this location. There’s plenty of seating in 2 rooms with tables and booths but be for warned this is a popular place to bring kids and they are usually running all over the place. I almost always get mine to go. Update: I was in there tonight(1−31−16) and saw the guy working the grill wipe his nose on his hand and then go and flip burgers. You might want to remind them they’re right there and can be seen by everyone.

I like grabbing take out for lunch on my work break. While many of their foods are high calorie, I really enjoy the Napa salad with grilled chicken. It is reasonably priced(under $ 10) and is a large portion with fruit and blue cheese mixed in.

I really enjoy their burgers. I don’t remember off the top of my head the name of the burger I get, but I order it medium rare with mushrooms and onion. Perfection! Not that big of a fan on the fries, but I can let that slide I also love how they have the toppings completely set aside so you can choose what you want, and how much of it you want. Let’s not mention the huge selection of soft drinks they have. Quite honestly, you have to be pretty darn stupid if you don’t know how to run that machine. To sum it all up. great burgers, great toppings, great drinks and a place that actually completely trusts their customers? A ++++++++

Fuddruckers has some of the best burgers I have ever had. The quality of beef is really good too. Though it can be a little pricey(I paid about $ 13 for combo adding bacon and cheese) but overall the food is good. They could give you a little more fries but hey what can ya do since the combo included a burger, fries and a drink. And believe me, the combo filled me up a bit. Oh, and another thing I like about this place is that you put your own toppings on(lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, etc) which is cool being able to customize it yourself with how much or how little of something you want. Always fresh stuff too.

Way overpriced for so so burgers. They weren’t terrible, but they weren’t anywhere near the $ 28 we spent for two half pound nothing special burgers, a small handful of fries that were closer to morning breakfast home fries, and two drinks, soda and a shake. I opted for a standard burger with American cheese, nothing fancy. The cheese looked like it was placed on top of the patty after coking. There was little if any melting of the cheese. It was cooked to my specified medium well. I did not pick up on any seasoning. My wife had their Swiss melt burger, with mushrooms and Swiss cheese. It was cooked to her requested medium rare, and the cheese appeared to be more melted than mine. But she also wasn’t impressed. So yeah, the burgers were average at best. Why the hefty price? Apparently the draw is the plethora of toppings you can add yourself, once served the burger. They seemed fresh enough, but again, they did not help save the average burger. This particular restaurant was a bit on the unappealing dirty side. The furniture was askew and there was some effort to keep tables somewhat clean, but it didn’t help the overall unclean feeling. The main reason for the low two star rating is value, or lack of. What we were served was not a $ 28 dollar meal for two. Cut it in half and that might be more in line for what we received. Won’t be back.

Love the burgers but the fries are my favorite. Always a good meal without hurting your wallet.

Came here for lunch with a large group of over 20 adults. They had one server which did not seem to be quite effective because once the food came out he was the only one serving us. He only has 2 hands so it tools about 25 minutes for everyone to get their meal. I had the garden vegetable burger win provolone cheese and a whole wheat bun. I then loaded it with pickles, lettuce and tomato. It was delicious and very very filling. The cooked the burgers perfectly for the other guests. The waiter helping us was very friendly and patient when accommodating us. However, the restaurant should have given him an extra set of hands to help out.

This place is Ron Swanson meets hipster and is perfect to cure your craving for an all-American hamburger. They have satisfyingly large portions and a plethora of options for even the most picky eaters. Price is a little high and the seating area is sticky and could be kept cleaner.

I thought the food was pretty good. I enjoyed it. Portions on the fries were small but food was delicious. I would go again. The veggie burger took a while for them to cook. Overall great!

Went in for a quickie… bite that is… A Burger, seasoned fries and a drink was $ 10, not too bad. The burger was good & service was acceptable. The place is very clean… and huge!, they must have to sell a lot of burgers to pay the rent in that place. I’d go back but I prefer Jakes Wayback Burger 5 minutes north in Salem.

I consider myself a burger connoisseur, and straight up Fudds is untouchable when it comes to burgers. Buttered bun, seasoned grade A meat, cooked to order, with a sweet toppings bar, where you’re in charge. The menu has many other tempting choices including burger alternatives such as Bison, but I’m so stuck on the burger perfection at this place I’ve rarely ordered anything else. I’ve been here dozens of times and never had an issue. Service is friendly and prompt, tables are clean. Most times my meal comes within 15 minutes of ordering. I have actually considered hugging the cook(they have an open kitchen) on my way out several times. I wish I could give six stars… Note — I’ve been to the ones in Andover, and Reading too. Same owner, same experience, so any location will do.

It’s a Fuddruckers… the food’s OK. Just OK. Obviously the burger bar is awesome, the ingredients in it were fresh and the sauces/etc are good. The ridiculous 2304344245464545-option magic soft drink vending apparatuses were unnecessary. Nothing’s ever been so simple that some asshole couldn’t make it more complicated. So. anyway it’s a place to get a burger. Yeah.

When I want to get a great burger along with delicious french fries, I’ll go to Five Guys. When I want to get a great burger cooked rare, I’ll go to Fuddruckers. Regarding the complaints here regarding the service at this location, this was not my experience. Every employee that I came in contact with was gracious and polite. The service here is far better than you’ll receive at the other hamburger hamlets and the food is far superior as well. My burger was cooked correctly, the buns are baked fresh and then buttered and grilled. The steak fries were delicious and the condiment bar was immaculate and chock-full of items. The Star-Trek soda beverage dispenser is fun as well. Many have commented on the cost here. If you want a substandard burger then hop right on over to McDonald’s or Burger King, pay $ 6.00 for your«value» meal and be happy. For me, I don’t allow myself burgers that often. When I want one, I would prefer to pay the extra money and get freshly-ground beef, cooked to order, with the option of adding my own condiments and toppings. Ten dollars for a well-executed burger, including fries and a beverage is not that much to spend on a meal. And the restaurant’s interior was sparkling clean. Think of that the next time you visit the run-down and often dirty Burger King on 28 in Salem.
