Direct Defense Jeet Kune Do specializes in private, and semi-​private self-​defense lessons. I keep the class size low so I can keep the quality of training high. You won’t get lost in a crowd or feel out of place here.

I teach Jeet Kune Do, a modern martial art built from the ground up for efficiency, simplicity, and real-​world application. WIth JKD, you will learn how to fight standing up, sitting down, on the ground, and everywhere in between.

In my school we focus primarily on unarmed vs unarmed fighting, as the vast majority of violent crime in the U.S. doesn’t actually involve the use of a weapon. Here you will learn how to turn your whole body into a weapon, giving you a serious advantage against the threats you are most likely to face.
