This is my favorite Stein Mart! The employees are always friendly and helpful and the sales never end. One if my favorite things to buy here is jewelry. It’s usually organized by color and it’s a higher quality than stores like Claire’s or that«Charming» store. You know that popular store I mean. Plus, shoes! Oh yes, shoes. Sale shoes that are ORGANIZED! Not the cheapest shoes, but if you’re in a hurry, you know whether they have what you need quickly. If you sign up for their emails, you get coupons that get you even lower prices than the existing sales.

I can’t speak about it to much because I only shop there for Ralph Lauren underwear. They have the best prices on them. But if you are into flower shirts and matching shorts then hay knock yourself out. I personally think that life is over for a man when a woman can get you to buy extra large shits that look like the botanical garden and vomit. You my friend have been neutered!

This is the bigger of the two Steinmarts that I check out but I actually find this one less useful… except for maybe shoes. The shoe department is much larger than the uptown store. Really the whole place is big and so has a better selection of sizes if you’re buying gifts. My last trip in was Easter weekend and the checkout lines were so ridiculous that I left without shopping. As befits a store that carries a variety of lines, the sizes are all over the map so be prepared to bring a variety in to try on. And don’t expect to find anyone to actually help you. Coupons are usually available in the paper or online for bigger discounts. And, then there’s the parking lot which is generally filthy. I’m not sure what’s up with the management company but it’s pretty gross.

They always have a huge stock of Polo and Michael Kors. I’ve been to other Stein Marts and their stock was average. It maybe due to the location being tucked away on Veteran’s. It’s never really packed but the checkout lines are always long. Really odd.
