My orthopedist referred me to Metairie Imaging for an MRI. They called me to schedule the appointment (even though the doctor said I would need to call them) and took care of handling everything on the insurance end. They called to remind me of the appointment, explained to me how much I would have to pay out of pocket (it wasn’t cheap, but that’s not their fault), and immediately sent the results electronically to the doctor and provided me a CD with the images on it. The procedure itself was fine. You just lie there and hold still and it takes about 25 – 30 minutes. Metairie Imaging made everything easy and for that they get a 5-​star rating.
