Placed my order online at 12:25, delivery guy showed up at 12:31! 6 minutes!!! That’s half the time i usually stand in line at any other lunch place. Sandwich is always made right, and it’s delicious!

Great place to pick up a sandwich. Thet are super fast. Sandwich taste very fresh and you get your fresh made sandwich in less than you can fill your drink from their fontain drink nachine.

If any fast food establishment worker should beg for $ 15 an hour it should be this guys! No joke. When I ordered at 12:28pm, I got my order delivered in 9 minutes. They get the order right EVERYTIME! Get the Vito. It’s my favorite Italian sub there.

Man I love me some Jimmy John’s!!! Every once in awhile I need to satisfy my sandwich fix and about 99% of the time this is the place I do it at. Their delivery really is FAST and the drivers are always super friendly and nice which I know isn’t a huge factor for most, but I can’t tell you how many times a pizza delivery guy has had an attitude with me about how long it took for them to find my apartment.(Like why didn’t you just call me and I would have met you by the gate?! Jesus! This isn’t rocket science!!). Anyways… I digress… a friendly delivery person is definitely a plus in my book. My personal all time favorite is the #9 Italian night club add hot peppers but I’ve had a lot of other ones and nothing really disappoints here. There’s something so satisfying about those white bread hoagie rolls too. Although they do have sandwich bread and unwich lettuce wraps upon request which is nice in case your trying to count those calories. And this may seem like an odd compliment but their website makes online ordering super user friendly and easy to customize. Their sea salt and vinegar chips are also a favorite for me. Super salty just like I like them. In case that resonates with anyone else who considers themselves to be a sea salt and vinegar chip connoisseur such as myself. Pros: fresh ingredients, fast and friendly delivery, who could ask for more?! Cons: well… there are none…

I liked that the sandwiches are far better and quicker than @ Subway. I didnt like that the woman cleaning the windows walked around the food counter to take my order. The food was good enough but I wish there was more of the 50c tuna on my $ 9 sandwich. It was high quality and good as far as a cold sandwich can be, but for my money nothing beats a hot and fresh Chick-fil-a.

I’ve become a big fan of Jimmy John’s gourmet sandwiches! I tried the JJ Gargantuan which is pretty tasty but an overload of meat(ask for extra condiments or toppings because the meat drowns out just about everything else in the sandwich). You can’t go wrong with the Italian Night Club sandwich. This location also has a drive-thru! There are about 20 employees(no joke) behind the counter making sandwiches so the service is VERY fast!

Great, great food. Jimmy’s could easily throw subway out the market. The customer service was great, staff was friendly and helpful, the place was spotless clean and of course the food was awesome, fresh bread, veggies, and meat. I will definitely be back many more times!

Compared to Subway, which I will never eat at again because of food poisoning, It’s your basic sub shop. The staff were very friendly which is a plus and everything was clean and well maintained at this location. It’s a good place if you are in a hurry for a sandwich.

4 stars for their super fast and kind service I once ordered the JJ garangutan?.. I’m sure I misspelled that. And a mixed of roast beef and Turkey sub. It was good, but not awesome. Jimmy John’s subs are made cold so don’t come here thinking they’ll put it in the toaster for you people! I also love how their ice are crushed cubes like raisin canes. Oh and not to mention their subs are super cheap with the drink and chips combo. and so I’ve heard they deliver! Pretty cool sub hub to get good subs. * just a tip for my fellow JJ Unilocalers.* I brought the leftovers home and popped them into the microwave… oh my goodness. It was so good! If only Jimmy Johns offers to have the bread/sandwiches toasted/oven it would be so awesome and delish. Other then that I wouldn’t mind going through their drive thru to grab a quick pick up a tasty Tuna Sub and veggie sub for when I’m in a hurry. Jimmy Johns for the win! Especially if you’re on crunch time.

I have written a review for the CBD location of Jimmy John’s on Poydras St. The menu is the same, the service is the same, the food is the same & the restaurant is just as clean.

I’m really not sure what all the hype about Jimmy John’s is about. I had lunch there this weekend and found it to be really unimpressive. I had #5 The Vito(an italian sub) and it was just fine. The bread was pretty standard, but there was barely anything between it. I’ve seen some of the Jimmy John’s photos posted to other social media sites and my sandwich didn’t look anything like that. I ordered the standard 8 inch, but maybe you need to order a giant club if you want a hearty sandwich, because there certainly wasn’t any meat hanging off the edges of mine. There are no combo options, you have to order everything a la carte, but prices are reasonable. Two things that make it different than other chain sandwich shops: you can order an «unwich» which replaces the bread with a lettuce wrap and you can order a whole pickle as a side.

Thier sandwiches are awesome, way better than the other chains! The downside is that there isn’t much room for customizations but service is super fast and the option they have taste great so it doesn’t really matter anyways!

Another example of Metairie becoming anytown USA. I’m pretty sure as I’m typing this another chain just opened up in Metairie…“OOOOOOOH look at the pretty Neon sign… must. go. inside”. People like familiar so I guess the suburbs are a good place for these places. Ok off topic sorry. Ok So Jimmy John’s is a sandwich shop owned by our fearless leader who brought us a Super Bowl trophy and is now to be worshiped for all eternity. Thus it is our civic duty to eat at his sandwhich shop. They are super fast. Duh. It’s cold cuts slapped on a thawed out hunk of bread by minimun wage high school kids hoping to meet Drew. There is nothing special about this place. The sandwiches are good because everyone likes sandwiches. There is absolutely nothing about this place above ordinary other than speed and sometime speed is important.

My favorite«fast food» sandwich shop. Better than Subway and Quiznos hands down. They have a limited bread selection(french bread like white bread, or wheat sliced) but that’s not a bad thing. Their bread is delicious, they have a lot of different sandwiches, it’s cheap. Also for me being a 6’6220LB male, I’ve never eaten one of their sandwiches and then been hungry afterwards.

Joyful joyful I adore thee… JJs, what would i do without you! You deliver ONE sandwich, and I LOVEYOUFORIT! i feel like you cannot go wrong with them. My biggest annoyance is when i forget to ask them to cut it in half. And that, i could really do myself, so it’s only annoyance with myself. Thank you JJs for being AWESOMETASTIC!

I like Jimmy Johns, but its a no frills quick service sandwich place so know what you are getting into. They have all the basics, turkey, ham, roast beef, ect. pros: When they say freaky fast… they mean it! You will be in and out in no time if you are in a rush. Delivery: again freaky fast! My office will order from them and even with a very large order they are here before we know it. Low carb option– if this is your thing you can get an «unwich» instead of bread you get a lettuce wrap Quality– The quality of the ingredients surpasses its competitors Subway and Quiznos House made chips– They are kettle cooked and made in-house. Flavors include: jalapeño, bbq, salt and vinegar and regular and also an option of reduced fat chips. cons: No frills –They do not offer many options at all. no option to toast the bread, press it, no special sauces so its literally a sandwich you can make at home. Not many low fat options. Its either full fat mayo or nada. Only one vegetarian option.

Its like a subway with less choices. –only one size sandwich(white loaf or wheat thick sliced) –no low fat condiments –basic sandwich toppings only plus avocado spread –the bread isnt crunchy like french bread but isnt as soft as subway breads –3 types of chips –2 different types of cookie –no kids meals –very small interior, one 6 person booth, 44 person booths and 22 person booths. if you go during a busy time plan on taking it to go or go thru the drive thru. –they do have 15 people working at the same time so it will be FAST

I was very happy to be surprised by a Jimmy John’s dropping in Metairie; I always enjoyed the High Street location in Columbus, Ohio. A no-frills, fast,(genuinely) fresh sandwich shop, this place doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s quite a rarity in New Orleans, where delis and burger shops seem to be jockeying for attention these days. Great quality meat and fresh-baked bread that’s never dry or crumbly. Very garden-y jalapeño potato chips. And — let the people rejoice — Cherry Coke at the fountain! Did I mention delivery? Yeah, FAST delivery. You can walk out of here with a sandwich, chips, and a drink for less than eight dollars. You can do the same at Subway, sure, but after eating at JJ’s you’ll realize that Subway is only fit for punishing your kids for bad grades or misbehavior.

I love Drew Brees. Yeah, there was that whole Super Bowl thing once upon a time… but now, more importantly, he brought a Jimmy John’s to NOLA! Well, the ‘burbs, but NOLA enough for me. Much like Drew, I went to college in Indiana. While most of the time I tried my best to avoid chain restaurants, Jimmy John’s was a frequent quick takeout/delivery treat. Fresh bread, fresh toppings, «freaky fast» service, cheap eats — you can’t go wrong! It’s better in terms of quality and service than Subway, at a comparable price. The only chain sandwich shop that I would trade Jimmy John’s for would be a Panera Bread(maybe another Saints player can open one of those, preferably on the Westbank… hmmm). Anyway, this location was a little confusing upon entering, especially during the busy lunch hour rush. You walk in, go past the line of people waiting for food, and head to the counter where the cash registers are. Place your order, then go wait for your sandwich to be made. They’ll call your order out, so be sure to be listening… and remember what you ordered! Feel free to customize your sandwich. Personally, I hate mayo, so my usual is a Turkey Tom with their sauce instead of mayo. Mmm. $ 4.89 after tax, and worth every penny. The service was friendly, and for the huge lunch crowd, I’ll consider it to be freaky fast. Gourmet sandwiches? Maybe not, but it beats fried po boy options and is better than the other chain sandwich places. I’ll take it!
