Very nice and enjoyable stay. It is located right off the interstate which allows for convenient drives. The parking is secured. Unfortunately there is not a lot of parking. We arrived to check in and the young lady at the front desk wasn’t the most welcoming, but she was professional so you can’t fault her. The rooms are securely tucked away and surround a courtyard. Upon arrival to the bedroom, it was cozy and neat. For the price and what you get, this is a hard place to beat. A 15 minute drive to New Orleans. They had a hot breakfast which we didn’t get a chance to eat but it smelled amazing. When we checked out, another woman at the front desk was so friendly and left a great impression. Throughout our vacation we continuously mentioned staying here again. We look forward to it.

We were surprised how nice the hotel was. We had never been to NOLA, so at first we were nervous about the area. We figured out in the morning it’s in a nicer suburb. The bathroom and the room were both really nice and updated. Two complimentary water bottles were in the room, which was great because I get nervous about tap water in a new area. The breakfast area is the only reason I didn’t give this full stars. It was really busy and didn’t have a lot of options, and nothing really healthy. They were slow to refill food, and the juice ran out. Wasn’t horrible though. Very easy to get to the city, a short drive. A great option for not paying the high prices in the city without being too far out. We will definitely be staying here for our next trip to NOLA. Only suggestion would be to put a gate in the parking area. It’s already fenced in, but anyone can just walk in.

I have to give this place five stars. We were in New Orleans for an overnight party and wanted to book a room to avoid driving home after the party. Called around to some close by hotels but none could accommodate my needs, either poor service or smoking rooms only available. I came across Country Inns and Suites and called them up. I am glad I did. First let me say that I paid a little more than what I wanted but it was a spur of the moment reservation. If you call ahead enough in advance(two weeks maybe) you could secure a really good rate($ 99 per night) for a spectacular facility. One could say that the beautiful courtyard/swimming pool area could make up for the extra price, if you are into that kind of stuff like me. Or you could say the more than nice continental breakfast makes up for the extra cash, if you are into that kind of thing like me. Needless to say the«extras» made this place a little more appealing. Everything was gated so we felt secure and the parking lot in the back of the building seemed secure as well, so the car was safe too. The main entrance lead to a nice«living room» type area with faux fireplace and couches and checkers to play while sitting on couches in from of faux fire place. It’s Mardi Gras season, so there were decorations around of Mardi Gras masks. Nice touch. The staff was very nice and funny and helpful. They seemed eager to help out in any way. Patrina was kind and accommodating upon checking in. Our room had a queen sized bed and a nice business desk for a traveling business person to utilize. Bedside tables and a nice long chest of drawers. The best thing about the room was the bathroom. Nice marble countertop, tile floor, elegant bathroom fixtures on the sink and the bathtub as well(very impressive). The toilet was a VERY powerful one upon flushing. You could actually feel a suction of air as you activate the commode. Some people like that sort of dependability in a toilet. I would definitely stay here again or be eager to find a Country Inns and Suites in another state if I need a place to crash.

My sister and I live in town separately but neither could house everyone that we had coming for the holidays. After careful consideration and a little research, we picked Country Inn and Suites. The reception desk is in tha building just off Causeway. The majority of the rooms are in a rectangle building behind that. There is a pool on the inside of the rectangle building, and all rooms open toward the pool. My parents are physically handicapped, so we got a ground floor level room. The room was in a corner, right next to housekeeping. My parents were quite happy with the quiet, and the layout of the room. The continental breakfast was us to standard. My parents were very happy, which makes my sister and I happy, therefore, I look forward to recommending this location to others in the future.

We made a reservation here online through book it. It said they were pet friendly through that website but when we arrived with our 9 tropical parrots off a cruise ship contract that was seven months long, in 45 degree weather… They informed us they were not pet friendly at all! Stressed, my husband and I with our two year old toddler freaked out about what we were going to do. Our paid transportation from the airport(private bus large enough for all our animals) had to leave and the hotel wouldn’t let us in. Finally, the manager on duty was kind enough to house us and our birds inside an unused room in the warmth. While my husband left for the airport to pick up a rental van since we couldn’t use a taxi or über to move ourselves, the manager got on the phone with book it and arranged a different hotel for us(cheaper and pet friendly) and got us a full refund at her hotel. I couldn’t ask for kinder people. Literally saved us, our birds and our daughter from temps they couldn’t be out so long in. Thank you sooooo much! Hope no one gets in trouble for the kindness you showed.

From the moment we were picked up by the free shuttle at the airport, we were treated like family. Large clean room and spacious restroom. Recently remodeled. Awesome breakfast buffet. Kind staff. Free shuttle to the French Quarter. Friendly staff full of suggestions of attractions. Hot fresh cookies. great value. great experience.

I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy this hotel, because sometimes hotels tend to photoshop their photos to create a nicer view of their hotel but I was wrong! For the most part this hotel was exactly like the pictures they had online. The room was nice and spacious. Huge bathroom. I got a room with a king size bed and that is exactly what we got. Our room was always cleaned every day. The only few things I would complain about would be the fire place not working, the fountain in the pool area and the pool is a bit small, but still a good size. When I asked for the fireplace to be turned on they said they didn’t have the proper equipment for it which is a bummer. They also offer free breakfast make sure you take advantage it is the basics cereal, coffee, toast, juice and then they switch out between something fancier(eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy) and they have a waffle maker. I would definitely stay at another country inn again. Washers and dryers are also in the hotel but you have to pay for it.

We have stayed here a few times when flying out of MSY. No a terrible hotel. Staff is always kind, coffee is coffee. They have not kept up with the maintenance. Our remote didn’t work, no writing pads or utensils in room, so be prepared to bring all business supplies with you. I probably will try the double tree a block down the road next time.
