Spinach dip was phenomenal with crispy and we’ll seasoned bow tie pasta. Our waitress was very friendly. It was unfortunate however that we did not have utensils even after our apps came out. Additionally, our entrees were incorrect. My sister ordered crab cakes and shrimp Alfredo but got chicken Alfredo instead. Once we received our correct entrees the manager checked on us because he knew we sent food back. He failed to apologize for the mishap and just said«I just wanted wanted to check on y’all». Very displeased overall. Usually one of my faves.

Whenever I’m in a city with a Copeland’s I make sure to stop in so this visit was no different except I should’ve looked at the reviews to notice this location barely had 3 stars. Once we walked in I clearly saw the reason why. The valet attendant didn’t seem attentive at all from the beginning. When we walked into the restaurant which was not busy at all and maybe had 4 tables of customers — the workers were running around as if it were dinner time and a restaurant full of people. Once the attendant caught his breath(for whatever reason) and sat us there were dirty tables we had to wait another 5 minutes just to order a drink. After sitting another bit for our waiter to return after I asked another waitress if we could just order an appetizer. The restaurant was out of seafood stuffed mushrooms. I didn’t even want my cheesecake which is what I initially went for. After this I decided to leave the restaurant. I see why there are 3 stars for this location: bad service, slow service, food not in stock, dirty tables and inattentive staff.

Went here for my annual work Christmas party. We are a group of about 40 women; we do this every year and the restaurant knew about our reservation well in advance. We were shuffled back to a dark sectioned-off portion of the restaurant and given two servers for 40 people. This should have rung alarm bells but did not… not yet. While Ethan was a professional and gracious server, I must be honest and mention that if you have the misfortune of getting Ashlyn as a server you may as well pack up and leave. My coworker was utterly ignored several times as others at my table received what they requested; my coworker, sitting next to me, was completely ignored. Not cool. Ashlyn did not smile, was not polite, and came off as extremely condescending. Not to mention that by the time I left, 3 hours later … 6 people had only just then gotten their entrees(and orders were taken at the same time). I hope we go someplace else next year. If not, Copeland’s needs to get their stuff in order.

I’m a NOLA citizen so of course I grew up eating the many flavorful foods that this chain restaurant has to offer. However, it seems that the food here has more salt than flavor. The Copeland’s chain has become one of my favorite throughout the years… great to have a plethora of food selections and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I wouldn’t say it’s BAD but I’ve def had better. Bring back Sweet Fire and Ice lol… R.I.P. Al Copeland

This trip we did the buffet. Everything from breakfast to lunch choices from the traditional steam line selections to made to order eggs. I always feel like a horse grazing when I come here. A spoon of this and a spoon of that; tasty and hot. I appreciate the customer service from valet parking to the waitstaff. Live jazz on Sunday is a plus. Casual yet elegant décor and small child friendly.

We came here to get some cheesecake and we decided to eat it in our car because the atmosphere turned us off. The display of the dessert was really strange. At first we couldn’t figure out if the displays were the real food or not and with closer look they were definitely fake with feathers and hair in them, just from being old. Which that’s ok I guess but it’s just not that appetizing to look at and makes me feel like I’m in a cheap old Luby’s. We split the turtle cheesecake and it cost $ 8. I would spend that on a good dessert no problem but just watching how she made it behind the messy and unorganized counter I did not feel like I was getting my money worth. Granted, it was good. It was A LOT of crap in one dessert and together only ate about ¼ of it. I don’t think I would ever go back or try their actual food menu. Everything just seems kind of sad in there like it’s on the verge of shutting down. It was prime lunch time without a soul in there. As Halloween decorations, they actually had two skeletons sitting at a table which I thought was *ha ha* ironic and describes the place pretty well. sad to say
