Wow! Yes, wow! I’ve been going to Classic Hair And Nails for over a decade now and have had superior service every visit. Nina is like a second family to me and many others in New Orleans/Metairie. She offers services to everyone’s mom’s, father’s, grandmothers and even grand-paws and not to mention the kids. I look forward to every visit and every conversation with Nina & Gina and especially the awesome clientele.

This place was nice for the price. I paid $ 12 for a brow wax, 25 for a style for me and 5 for my fiancé’s trim. Within less than an hour my hair was flat and she did not put it in the style I had asked for. Very pleasant and clean experience but I would only go here to take an inch off if you’re in a rush and in Metairie. Not to get ready for a major event.

I have had my hair styled at this salon and am ALWAYS pleased with the results. After each visit, my co-workers and friends ask me in awe and jealousy, «Where did you get your hair done?» I have had my hair cut and highlighted(with dramatic brunette and blonde tones), and I came out looking über-glam.(And trust me, it is difficult for me to look semi-decent.) The salon owner treats all the customers with care, by gently shampooing, brushing, styling, and cutting hair and making engaging conversation. If you have a mani or pedi, her massages are the best. Also the facial wax treatments are«quick and clean.»(The only way waxing should be.) During the holiday season, the salon owner even makes Vietnamese spring rolls and crab angels for her regular customers – and lemme tell you, those snacks are dayum good, or mouthwateringly scrumptious. Also, it is located in a great little area of Metairie, close to shops and markets. With all these perks, I highly recommend Classic Hair and Nails for hair and nails in the New Orleans area.
