I heard that this place delivered so my family decided to give it a try on a night when the convenience of delivery was the perfect option. The delivery was fast and everything looked really good. Unfortunately after tasting it, there was nothing to rave about or recommend. The food was so flavorless. The egg rolls, cashew chicken and hot and sour soup were bland. The sesame chicken was not what I expected either. It was more like gooey sweet and sour chicken with sesame seeds sprinkled on top. The crab rangoon was a little too sweet for me. The rice was ok, but not the best. The only thing that I can recommend ordering are the beef teriyaki strips and the boneless chicken. They need to kick up the flavor because the food is definitely lacking. I will not be a returning customer.

The rice has a good flavor, but the general tso chicken was pretty mediocre. Their rice was actually the best I’ve tasted in Metairie. I’ve lived in several states, and have tasted some really good American Chinese food; hence, my 3 star rating. The food is actually ok. Don’t expect to be blown away though. I’m looking for that «go to» place for Chinese, as I’m new to this area. This place just didn’t accomplish that goal.

This is a new place in an older strip mall. The name on the sign is «Chinese Restaurant» and the website is bjtakeout. It is extremely clean and the food has been good. We ordered delivery once and it was fast. We had a pick up order that was also good. I am back for takeout again tonight. So far everything has been your typical chinese fare with no problems. The staff have been pleasant and have been willing to modify dishes to our taste. There are only two tables for dining in, so it is geared more for take out and delivery.

Very good. Place looked clean, and the lady at the register was nice. I had the General Tso’s Chicken dinner plate and an order of crab rangoons. The chicken had a great flavor and so did the rangoons, although they were really stingy with that delicious cream cheese filling. I would definitely go back though! Plus, it’s right by my apartment!
