Absolute worst experience of my life. The customer service here is a joke and implied I was lying about something they said. I am dropping American Home Shield specifically for using this vendor.

Terrible service! I had to use them through American Home Shield. My shower would not turn off. Tech named Chris came out, spent 5 minutes, said it was fixed, and left. When my tenant went to take a shower, it did not work. The tech did not fix it, took the $ 75 and told AHS parts were missing. Now, they wont cover it. What a bunch of dishonest, lazy, people.

In the approximately two and a half years that I have owned this contract, AHS has taken my money without providing any service. From waiting for days to speak with a vendor, to assigned vendors missing four consecutive appointments, this company has abhorrent customer service. Upon calling last night and speaking to two customer service agents, I was informed that I would have immediate plumbing service to rectify the plumbing backup that caused 20+ gallons of water to fill my kitchen. When finally contacted by the vendor this morning, I was informed that it would take another day to send out a plumber — to rectify a plumbing problem I have previously contacted AHS about only to have the technician inform me that I have no problems. When I contacted AHS, I was informed my only option was to pay an additional expedited fee. This company accepts money for an illusory service then attempts every possible angle to avoid providing the service they are paid to provide. This company is a continuing predator on the Texas consuming public.

We currently have a policy with American Home Shield that covers some of you home repairs. We have been having problem with our air conditioner and they have been sending Service Contractors out to work on the unit. To date they have had to make 4 different trips. Each time they get the unit working before they leave but I am frustrated that they have to keep coming back. It seems that they are just trying to get in and out as soon as possible. It seems that they could take just a little extra time check everything over to make sure that there are not any additional issues that would create the need to an additional trip. Also, each time that you have to schedule them to come back it takes a couple of days(the last time they came the next day). Another problem is that the technician that comes out to repair the problem does not look professional at all. Dirty t-shirt, shoes with no socks, and dirty. He ended up being a nice guy but his appearance leaves a lot to be desired.
