I don’t even want to give this one star. Called AHS because my fridge compressor went out. It took this place a week just to come out. They ordered the compressor, which took another week to receive, and then refused to come back out for another week to install it. When my appt time finally came around, the repairman wanted immunity for any liability when he damages my hardwood floors from moving the fridge. Apparently, they don’t use simple techniques like a hard board or rubber mat when moving appliances because«they’re just trying to make a couple of hundred bucks. I sent them away without repairing my fridge because accepting damage to my kitchen floor isn’t something I’m willing to do. What a waste of time.

Terrible. Don’t waste your money… even if its just a $ 75 American Home Shield service fee. Our experience with this group happened 2 years ago. AHS dispatched«Quality Services» to replace our dishwasher. The technician pulled out the old dishwasher just fine, but jacked up the new dishwasher. I realize that it was a tight space, but he ended up denting the lower right section of the front panel. I called«Quality Services» several times and never received a return call. The cost of the new panel was just under $ 300. I would have been better off calling a manufacturer authorized service repairman. I filed a complaint with AHS and all they did was note on my account to never send«Quality Services» to my house. You may ask why I’m just reviewing today? It’s because I just placed a service request online with AHS, and the system assigned the repair to these jokers. I canceled the service immediately and called AHS to have them dispatch another contractor. Honestly, I can’t believe«Quality Services» is still in business.

Going on 4 weeks of not having a working washing machine. They came out and diagnosed, ordered part, and 1 week later, put part in. Machine did same thing the minute the repair man left. Had to wait another several days for them to return, diagnose further, order another part, and now just get a call that the part is in(4 days later) but I have to wait another week for them to install that part. Seriously troubled with the so-called«quality service.» Unfortunately, i am tied into this company due to home warranty service, but cannot recommend them whatsoever. And, AHS will be dropped as well.

American Home Shield sent out clown #1: «Don» to diagnose why our 2 of our cooktop burners wouldn’t ignite, and the other 2 were hard to turn on. He said it was because there was too much of a «breeze» in our kitchen and they keep blowing out. We live in a very normal house with very normal a/c and heating vents, windows are closed and you can feel no «breeze» whatsoever. I told him he had to be kidding and he said no. I said, what do people do then, turn off their heat and AC every time they want to cook on their cooktop? The guy went on his way and I complained to the home warranty company that this was ridiculous. So Quality Services sends out clown #2: «Kevin» who came out and said the same thing. We finally had a real appliance company come out and he immediately said we needed 4 brand new ignitors, as the range was 11 years old and they were worn down. I told him what Quality Services said and he laughed hard. He said you’d need like a 220 mph wind for those not to light. Obviously Quality Services wanted to avoid doing any work, probably because they don’t get great reimbursement from Amer. Home Shield, but want to collect their $ 60 trip charge. I looked online and there is not one mention of Quality Services– no website, no reviews, nothing and their card says they’ve been around since 1985. Very strange. I’m thinking they got such bad reviews they re-opened under another name?!
