Mesa Buffet

Pleasantly surprised! Priced right!
My family and I were just passing through after a week in CA and Disneyland. We decided to stay in Mesquite for the night and had the Sunday buffet. Kids 5 and under are free. So our family of 8 (3 free) ate for under $ 50 including tip. Clean, organized, and lots of food choices — including healthy ones. The food was good and the kids enjoyed it.

So we arrived just in time for dinner to start! The buffet is pretty small, not much to chose from. To start off, our waitress was really rude & seemed bothered by us. We weren’t asking for anything extra, so it’s not like we needed special accommodations. To start with the food now, I don’t think I’ve ever eaten food this bad. I’m from Vegas, so I’ve had my share of bad buffets. This by far is the worst! The NY strip steak literally tasted like dog food! Rice was dry, the beef was really hard to chew and was bland. The broccoli has a really odd taste, and the only decent things were the fried shrimp, mashed potatoes, and ice cream. The banana foster is a must try! The crab legs were dry, and overall I wish we would of went somewhere else. Deff won’t be back!

We just called to see if they were open and whether we could bring kids. It’s 7:30 pm. Were told that the restaurant is already closed. For the day? Forever? I don’t know, I was hung up on.

Friday night is the night to eat here! Endless seafood buffet… Includes steamed crab legs that are already cracked open! Sweet! There is shrimp done so many ways, sushi, crab cakes, muscles, oysters, clams. Not a seafood fan… Don’t worry they have steak & chicken too. And a salad bar for the veggie lovers! They also have a chef cooking fresh pasta.
They have a huge variety of desserts and a chef that will make cherries jubilee… So yummy!
I love eating here on Friday nights! They waitresses are always friendly, they keep our drinks full and dirty plates cleared.
I would totally recommend eating here!
