In the 15 years I have been coming here I am sad to say it has turned very touristy. They have more than doubled in size and with it their prices have escalated. You can get jellies, dips, teas and bulk goods here but watch their prices. Some of their«vintage» style candies get marked up! Now I will tell you if you are visiting the Amish area and want to step back into a retro shop this is the place! You can find a wide assortment of pop In Glass bottles and of almost any flavor! We have had butterscotch, watermelon and even old fashioned egg creams here! Oh! Also, their homemade fudge is really good! The deli area serves great food and is not too pricey so we have stopped here before for lunch while shopping for the day. My husband drives Amish crews and loves to stop in for a burger and fries when he has the time. It’s not a place I would tell you not to go by any means, just be aware it can be very touristy!

Always a great stop when in the area. Huge assortment of delicious foods and candies(TRUE nickel candies, no less) and fun toys. I have visited this store each year if my life, from what I can remember, and never leave without seeing/trying something new or unique. I.e. Cucumber soda or homemade style licorice allsorts, or even A Sucker with a mealworm in it! They have expanded the retail footprint a bit, and improved the flow of the space better. I love the original wood floors, which occasionally i trip on and feel like my cart needs off road tires, but thats all part of the old general store atmosphere. Very warm, welcoming place that always has good memories attached to it. Definitely make an effort to get here if you are ever nearby!

This place is really cool. A little bit of everything. You can find hardware, baking supplies, toys, penny candy, and plenty of touristy stuff. Great place to bring kids.

Love, love, love this place. Have an ice cream cone. You’ve never had ice cream this good. Mesopotamia is a step back in time in the best possible way. Enjoy!

What a cool little store in Amish country! End of the Commons General Store is sort of like the local grocery store of all things Amish. They sell many items in bulk and if you are looking for authentic Amish bakery goods or anything else Amish this store will have it. From candies and chocolates to mugs and fabrics. They have a little of everything. They had a cooler the length of the wall full of specialty sodas and drinks from all around the world. I actually found my favorite aussie drink(from Australia as well the bottle was) ginger beer in two flavors regular for aussies and the yanky version that uses less ginger. I made sure to stock up on a few bottles before I left. They also have this giant wooden horse and buggy you can take a picture in front of outside and a real horse and buggy as well for taking pictures. I thought it was kind of funny and cute that they had special parking for the buggy’s out front but the smell was kind of harsh so don’t get too close lol! If you are a tourist like me this is a must stop!

This is a great place to buy some bulk items like cake/cookie mixes. Pricing isn’t outrageously lower but I think you go here more for the experience. They also have oddball things, like Love Potion Number 9 soda pop, which is hard to find elsewhere. There’s also a big assortment of cookie cutters and a taffy bar! The ice cream is fantastic. Buy your cheese down the road!

Kinda like an Amish superstore meets tourist trap! Impressive. Best way of describing this place is the Bed, Bath & Beyond bus crashed into a gas station mini mart, then took out an Executive Chef, a fudge shop, and your local mom & pop plumbing suppy store, then stuffed it all into a large wooden house(sorta). Then add some Amish parking out front(a lane dedicated to horse & buggy only) and a giant wooden horse & buggy statue outside! Boggled?! So was I! But as you walk through, it does make sense. The coolers in the front, right next to the registers and full of modern soda mixed with local sassparilla, root beer, and other pop flavors, provide both familar and local refreshment options for the tourist and local crowds. Just to the side are various local knick-knacks mixed in with the usual Made in China swag — fodder for those disembarking regular motorcoaches that land here on «Amish Tours» from all over, looking for those«I was here» momentos to bring back to «civilization» with them. You want cookie and baking goods? Wow. I’ve never seen so much stuff in *any* store — even the Executive Chef type stores! The selection of cookie cutters, muffin cups, sprinkles and decorations, right down to the different raw flours. Wow again. For me, I ended up in a $ 85 shopping frenzy. I happen to like Louis & Amos Amish canned goods(pickled baby corn, buffalo eggs, pepperocinis, etc.). Found some excellent popcorn toppings(hard to find spinkle-on flavors that are more flavor than salt!). Couldn’t help but try all the fudge flavors the little sweetie behind the counter was pushing to passers-by. Got some nifty kitchen implements too. Anyway, this Amish Superstore is just a fount of wholesome goodness plus soda pop worth visiting! We’ll be back!

I’ve lived in this area all my life and only just visited this store today. It’s adorable! Like a cracker barrel but bigger. Has a restaurant, gas station, and store all built into one. And I recommend the peanut butter fudge. Come visit! You’ll be glad you did! :)

The lunch served here is great. They use wholesome ingredients in their sandwiches. The pizza is really good too.
