I have now had the chance twice to do the five hour canoe trip down the Manistee River with wilderness canoes. They have always been friendly, courteous and the trip is always been very memorable. I highly recommend this outfitter and any trips they might offer. They offer both shorter and longer trips.

Booked a four hour tubing trip for two adults and one child on a beautiful day in July. The water was cold, clear and beautiful. There were several sand bars and small sandy areas to stop, have a picnic, swim, have a drink, etc. We saw raccoon, goose, and bear tracks on one beach. A bald eagle flew over us as we floated down the river. A beautiful waxwing sang to us for what felt like a half hour. I wish I had a waterproof camera. The customer service was perfection. The person at the register even gave my nephew a squirt gun. The driver was waiting at the landing for the quick drive back to the livery. Absolutely awesome. I’d be back tomorrow if I had remembered my sunscreen today!
