Best place to go paint balling. The guys there are awesome and truly understand customer service. The only thing I can say was a lil annoying was the fact that you can’t tell who is on your team or not. They gave tape to one team but it so hard to still tell the diff. They should invest in jerseys for people to put on with different colors and after every game they collect them this way no one will walk out with them. Otherwise I was very please with the outdoor setup really cool!!! Love the fact that there are legit referees there to watch over the game. Won’t go anywhere else. :)

Another great fun day at Wild West Paintball. Old vs. Young player tournament today and us «old» folk took it 5 – 3! Something to be said for experience! Great players and great staff!

First time playing there today and my wife and I had an amazing time. The owner was very nice and personable. The staff, professional and very friendly. You can bring your own paint, or buy it at the field. 3000 and 4500 fills were consistent. Rec ball fields were a blast to play. The other players were very friendly and everyone seemed to have a great time. Will definitely be returning.

This place is a great area for both airsoft and paintball, the staff is amazing and the people who play there have great sportsman ship. What more can you ask for? Overall, you wont regret going to this field.

Backstory: I was the best man at a wedding. The groom did not want a raunchy type bachelor party, so I decided on paintball. After searching far and wide for a field with a reasonable price, I found this place(which happened to be the closest for all of us). We were all around 20 – 30 years old. Only about 5% of the people that went had actually paintballed before. I had gone once before, but my buddy did all the cleaning, tinkering etc. so I was practically a beginner as well. Price: We were looking for a private party price for the groomsman and some other people(about 20 people). Every other place charged at least $ 1,000 for a private event that would include the equipment and our own refs/field for a couple of hours. The owner told me that if we had at least 20 people, we could get a group price of $ 40/person, and nobody would be allowed to join our games. The choice was obvious. Also they let us pay separately, where most of the other places needed a down-payment, or a single $ 1,000+ transaction. Field: There were 3 outdoor fields. One small field with grassy turf and inflatable equipment. When we arrived that field was getting cleaned up, so i’m assuming it is only used for league games or something similar. There was a medium field which was almost perfectly symmetrical with small rooms lined up on each side. This field was the our favorite by far. It almost felt like we were in some type of war zone in a deserted town or post-apocalypse world. The last one was an enormous one with boats, coils, ditches, walls and more. We only used ½ the field because we did not have enough players. It was fine, but you could tell it was designed for huge big team battles. Outside the field there were tables to set up your equipment or just take a break. We brought a cooler full of water. Even though there is lots of shade, it is still the Arizona desert. Expect to get plenty of dust and dirt on your shoes and clothes. Refs: The refs are great people. I’ve heard many horror stories of arrogant refs that look down on you because they know more about the sport than you do. This was not the case. They were very humble, friendly and helpful with many situations. We even asked them if we could play some other types of games like capture the flag, VIP/PRESIDENT, etc. We were informed that as long as we explain them the rules of the game, they would gladly officiate it. Made it even more fun! They were a little pushy about some of the safety rules, but I’m sure they deal with many brats and kids on a weekly basis. It was only about safety, so I don’t mind it at all because they are simply trying to protect everyone.(KEEPYOURBARRELSLEEVEON) Staff: I usually don’t create long and detailed reviews, but the owner and staff members went through so much trouble just to make sure we had a good time. I feel like they deserve it. Hopefully more people read this review and give them some more business. There were TONS of emails sent between me and the owner. I felt bad bugging him so much, but I just had so many questions. Yes they take debit/credit, yes they have bathrooms there, yes they sell water etc. Such a great guy. At the time of the event, two people ended up calling off, but he told me it was fine, and we would still receive the group rate. This instantly calmed my panic. Our time was well spent. All we had to do was go through a short 10 minute orientation and sign off on waivers(expected). Review: If you are new at paintball or an expert, I definitely recommend going to this place. Everyone in my group that was on the fence about paintballing ended up having a blast.

I had a lot of fun coming to this field the other day, I played all day from 9 – 5. I was excited to test out my new marker that I got online and after gassing up it would not fire. HUGEBUMMER. I took it over to a staff member who happened to be the owner. He tells me he used to have the same exact gun and strips the whole gun down, cleans it and gets it up and running within an hour. He went above and beyond and everyone there had the same kind of attitude which was friendly and inviting. Very good refs here, their presence is known, they are aware and interactive if needed. They chrono anyone who has their own marker so no one shoots too hot and gets hurt, cool in my book. The refs don’t play favorites which can be annoying at other fields, meaning teams are balanced and fair. The fields are pretty fun, having another field in the near future will be nice. Bring you own paint is always good, I bought their paint and it worked out well, air is included with admission. Also they sell water, sodas, snacks just as a heads up. Credit/debit is accepted but I chose to bring cash to help a small business avoid CC fees. I’ll admit the air soft guys are kind of annoying but they keep to themselves, some kind of barrel cover safety protocol would be nice to give a sense of assurance that no misfires would occur. I tried my best to be tolerant of their hobby/sport because my obsession with paintball could seem strange to others. All in all fun place, good people, good times, give this place a shot!!!

I would like to start off that I have been playing for quiet sometime and have worked & ran numerous fields. If you live in the area it’s a pretty close field if you live in the EASTVALLEY still close westside your going to want to hit Fighter Town. Admission — if using a semi 30.00 is what my friend paid, if playing pump 15.00 and air is included not a bad deal Ref staff — morning started slow everyone waking up still but they got the games rolling and made it happen, through the course of the day(we played from 9 – 1) I can’t tell you how many games we played tey turned games rather quickly and divided teams up pretty well each game or left the teams how they where, every 3 – 4 games they would re-do teams to keep it fresh and the rental players where playing well also and I heard no complaints about teams(people with customs) Playing fields — The fields need to be set up a bit better one field looks like they just took a bunch of hyper ball tube and laid it all over the field, the far side is a dead zone you will have to make a push to not get hosed, the close side favors your all over the field. Here is my downside to this field and I addressed it with the owner, In paintball you have a barrel sleeve that catches paintballs if you pull the trigger and a ball is fired it prevents anyone from loosing a eye due to negligence by catching that paintball. The AIRSOFT players are not held to this same standard. They only have to pull their magazine or clip out and are told to clear their gun. We watched numerous players with magazines and clips in guns waiving them around people that where not wearing safety goggles or glasses and dry firing their guns in the safe area. We spent a lot of our time in the staging area watching for these players and where they pointing their guns. As long as they DONOTREQUIREAIRSOFTPLAYERSTOUSEBARRELSLEEVES I would suggest playing somewhere else all it takes is one shot to the eye and your going to be injured, this may seem like it’s not a big deal to some but in the 25 years of playing this is SAFETYRULENUMBER1 I give them 2 stars on refs on point and turning games and price Airsoft held them back from 5 due to safety, the airsoft staff yelling at some kid to move his car several times after he heard them the first time and wasn’t moving fast enough to their standards, and dry firing constantly. Sorry guys but this is a walking law suit waiting to happen.

I just got into paintball as a sport about 3 months ago so I have not been to many fields. Wild West is really awesome compared to the other fields I have been too. I usually go to this place on saturday nights for night paintball, its from 5pm to 10pm. They light up the field and there are plenty of places to hide. The prices are awesome at this place and you can bring your own paintballs! Most courses make you use their paintballs and then they jack up the prices, not this place! The people there are very nice and know a lot about paintball guns so if you have any questions they are always happy to help you. CHECKTHISPLACEOUT!

This place is AWESOME! Being on and from the East side, we run out of things to do, usually all the cool stuff is on the West side in either Scottsdale or Phoenix. Having something close that is fun to do is a cool change of pace! This place is an outdoor course for both paintball and air soft guns. They have everything you need, so if you are a newbie you can go without any gear and they will get you taken care of! The prices are decent for rentals and you can pay one fee and play for as long as they are open for the day. It’s pretty hot out right now, so I would definitely recommend going as soon as they open. By 10am we were sweating our butts off and ready to leave after about 5 games. If you are a girl, don’t worry, it doesn’t hurt too much at all! I would suggest wearing a long sleeve shirt and some pants for your first few times! Once you get better you can show some more skin, but bear skin will bruise a lot easier then covered skin. Also get one of the chest guards, to protect more of your body. I got shot a few times and only left with one good bruise, really didn’t hurt at all! I can’t wait to go again! The people who work here are very nice, happy and have a good time! Side note — There are some people who take this game seriously, so if you go out for your first time and just for fun, try to stay out of their way so they can enjoy themselves too. They aren’t rude, but they are determined to WIN! So watch out! Haha! And ladies… no potty… so be prepared to hold it or cop a squat! :)

Good. It cost around $ 30-$ 40 to get a rent stuff. The people working there are nice. The scene is outdoors with a lot of obstacles. You must be able to tolerate pain because these paintballs hurt though! haha
