I cant speak for the entire office, but I can speak to my 2 years with them and the treatment we have faced from their representative Andrea King. In the first few months the electronic gate broke and wouldnt close. They sent help to fix it. Someone not from our complex — I am assuming the repair folks — left all the electronics uncovered and left it wide open. I happened to go look at it and see if it should be covered. The next day I received a call from our landlord telling me that I would be liable and sued for any accidents due to my breaking the gate. Umm ok. A month or so later I asked for some clarification on the use of the hot tub. I asked the guy that does the repairs and cleaning for operators advice. A month later I was accused of breaking the hot tub. Yet, it wasnt broken, someone had turned off all the jets. Due to my asking how to use it I was singled out as the culprit. It wasnt broken when I used it to begin with. We dealt with an AC leak for over a year. There were multiple repairs and the damage still hasnt been corrected. At one point I had water pillowing in the walls and had to poke a hole to drain it before it popped the pain pillow and ruined our electronics in the living room. That was 6 months ago. Mold and water damaged walls are obvious in a number of locations. I asked for mold testing. The guy that did the testing laughed about how bad the walls looked and said«well they obviously need to fix this». I asked for the mold report that they received and was told to contact a real estate attorney as they do not have to show me the report. wth… really? Is this what they teach you in real estate school Andrea? I was advised that they would fix the wall damage at some point but were it no hurry because it was my fault for popping the water paint pillow. Really? What do you think would have happened if I didnt? It would have been worse. The negligence is the two weeks of daily leaks that our landlord refused to respond to until I sent pictures of the huge wall bubble. The AC company said popping it was the right move. Its a shame. I hear the owner is really nice, but the fact that Ran Realty is representing Jen Tilly Place(1416 Jentilly Lane) is a really good reason to live anywhere else. I reached out to our landlord, Andrea King, for the last time last week. She told me to contact an attorney. All we have asked for was to be treated humanely and fairly. Apparently that isnt part of their policy. On a side note I hear its going to be 75% unoccupied in 3 months so maybe it will be a deal then.

I’ve always paid my rent at least one week before it was due and I felt we had a good working relationship until I gave notice as we had to move due to our jobs. It was then that I saw a change in their demeanor. It almost felt as if they were upset because we were moving to another state and how dare us for doing so. Needless to say, I was disappointed when I received our deposit. It’s like they were nickel and dime(ing) us for every little thing. They charged me $ 85.00 because they felt their were too many weeds in the yard(we hired a landscaping company three days prior to moving out), several light bulbs needed replacing(OK, sorry for not taking the time to replace them but we left several packages in the house and in the garage. We were still charges $ 5.00 per bulb.) Trash cans were full.(Ok, so what are we supposed to do with the trash, take it with us?) We were charged $ 50.00 because they had to wheel the trash bins to the curb. We left on a Monday and waste management doesn’t pick until Friday. I’m sure I would have been charged for putting the trash out early. I’ve always tried to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes you have to inform others when you’re not treated fairly.

The team has been very helpful and supportive in assisting me and my family in locating exactly what we were looking for. They were ready and willing to assist us in any way. They were knowledgeable about the area and the schools nearby. Thank you for all of your help! I would definitely recommend RAN Realty and Property Management!

I recently gave RAN a poor review but am pleased to say I was very wrong about this company. I have been in real estate since 1998 and I have witnessed many unscrupulous agents and brokers. They legally did not have to let a client out of their lease nor did they have to refund her security deposit but they have. Unfortunately there was misunderstandings and miscommunication and I let my emotions get the best of me. I will be forever grateful to RAN Realty.

I have a friend that was totally deceived by this group, they rented a house to a young mother that had no fridge and the owner says they are responsible for nothing. No repairs bug control nothing. They didn’t feel the need to tell her these things till after she had signed the lease, shame on you! Taking advantage of a young single mother!
