Great ambiance! I liked the dim atmosphere, candle lit tables, dart board/pool table, dark pub feel. The food was unique and they had a decent variety of pasties. Service is was fair. We’ll be back. Food: 7⁄10 Atmosphere: 10⁄10 Price: 7⁄10 Service: 5⁄10

Delicious. We will 100% be back. Prices are more than fair and the food is so, so good. Everyone at our table was pleased with their meals. Not an ounce of food left on anyone’s plate. You seat yourself as well, we were a little confused when we walked in initially but it was totally worth it. I don’t frequently rave on Unilocal, but this place is rave worthy.

Gah, so tasty. Bummed they were out of the bangers and mash pasty, but my second choice was damn tasty — the table ordered Royale with Cheese, Pilgrim, Peppered Steak, and the Portobello Chicken, and everyone was more than satisfied. $ 9 average for the entrees was well worth it. Also, the chocolate chip cake was amazing. Dense after the meal, no doubt. But if you’re sticking around to chat, you can definitely find room ;) Solid beer selection, too.

After my first visit last week, an addict was born. At that time I had the Bangers and Mash. OTH delicious!!! Second visit(today), I tried the recommended Cajun Chicken. OTFH delicious!!! And I got to wash it all down with a few oversize pints of Boddingtons on tap! Yeah, that’s what the fuck I’m talking about. Who the hell has Boddingtons on tap anymore??? These guys do and they do it right!!! Add the following competent, friendly and oh so lovely servers and life is good at the CPC: Christina Casey Shannon Jess My compliments to Dean for putting together such a wonderful, comfortable, delicious dining experience. Perhaps a Gilbert location might be in the works soon? I can think of a place in California that would be a good fit fo shizzle. My new pasty faves: Cajun Chicken Bangers n Mash Shannon recommended: Carne adobado. Meat n cheese with secret side. I’ll probably forget the side at my next visit, so hopefully she’s there to assist. Fingers crossed! Good times in the still fucking hot in October Sonoran Desert!!!

So after my review from Easter Sunday over 2 years ago, we’ve gotten food from Cornish Pasty, but have not dined in. For some reason, this place attracts an inordinate amount of jagoff parents and their out-of-control offspring. I just don’t want to deal with it, so we’d get the food to go. In a way, it had two benefits. It helped to preserve my sanity, and it saved us money because we’d bring the pasties home and drink our own booze. But, then I got the idea one night after we both had taken a nap after work, to go out and hit this place at 8:00 p.m. I thought, well, maybe all the sticky-fingered crumbsnatchers and their oblivious parents might be home by now. That strategy has worked out very well. In the past month we’ve been back a few times, all around 8:00 p.m. and the crowd has really thinned out and we haven’t had to tolerate any maniac kids. The only aftereffect to the dinner hour we’ve felt was one evening we had to wait for a booth to be cleaned because a large family with a bunch of kids had made a huge mess. It looked like a couple of pasties exploded. Who does that? Seriously! Animals. I’ve started trying their soups and I love the cream of leek soup with the fresh-baked bread. I’m pretty sure they should call that bread«crackdough», it’s just that good. We sit at the bar frequently, and Megan takes great care of us. A pint of Rogue Hazelnut Brown and the Royale with cheese pasty and I am one happy girl.
