Citron Sound Services DJs

Used they guys for our company party a few months ago and several years ago. Several years ago we had a great experience but this last time — not so much. I gave 3 stars as an average between our two experiences.
This last time, our DJ was an older guy (I don’t want to mention names). He really had a hard time connecting with our group. He didn’t have the music that many were requesting. It seems to me that every DJ should have access to a Spotify account to pull up every song when requested. Another thing that baffled me was that he was using CD’s. Who uses CD’s in this electronic age? Not to mention that several times the CD’s WERE SKIPPING! (very unprofessional)
The sound wasn’t very loud and didn’t sound very good. Maybe this is because the system only had one speaker. I would assume that every DJ would have two speakers.
I really hate to give a so-​so review but a DJ can make or break a special occasion. Be sure to ask about these issues and interview your DJ.

All I have to say is Elliot saved my wedding!
He was our DJ for our wedding in March 2016. Another Citron DJ was recommended but was booked and the owner suggested Elliot.
He knew Exactly how the keep the party going, he played every song/​artist we wanted and kept to the style of wedding we wanted.
He was organized and super easy to get along with!
The Resort made soooooo many mistakes, and yes they got a review too, but Elliot kept it going.
ALL 113 guests danced until we were kicked out!

My wife and I picked Jimmy to be our wedding DJ/​MC because he rocks, and we had 2 great experiences with him at 2 weddings! We first saw him as the DJ/​MC at my good friend’s wedding last May. My friend had nothing but good things to say about Jimmy, and when their wedding finally came he did not disappoint. He knew what he was doing, was very friendly, and put on one hell of a ceremony and reception! My friend’s wedding was the best I had ever been to, and the DJ and music selection played a huge part of that great night.
During that time, we were engaged and looking for wedding vendors. I loved Jimmy and my wife did too, but she wanted to look at a few others first before we decided. We sat down with DJs from other companies first and talked with another on the phone, but we didn’t have a great feel about any. Then came our meeting with Jimmy…
Our meetings with him couldn’t have went better. He was very hospitable (had hot coffee and cream waiting for us on an early Saturday morning), obviously a pro, knew exactly how to help put on an amazing wedding, and directed us on what he thought might be good ideas (we didn’t know what we were doing!). We loved everything he was suggesting. If he didn’t have a song, he would buy it on itunes for us. He was doing everything in his power to help us and make sure we’d be able to do what we wanted. He communicated with us in a timely manner, and answered all of our questions.
Day of our wedding: Jimmy was flawless. He arrived several hours before the ceremony to do all of his sound checks and get his gear up and running. Ceremony music was perfectly-​timed, and the reception was awesome! We had countless guests tell us this was the funnest wedding they had been to… with great music and energy of the reception, thanks to our amazing DJ. Jimmy also MC’d, and did a great job. We were very happy with him the entire process leading up to the wedding, and I don’t think anyone else could’ve put on a better reception (he’s a DJ/​MC/​radio voice/​cool-​game-​show host-​esque personality all in one!). We felt like he was part of the family or an old friend through the whole process. Both of our families loved him and so did we! After seeing Jimmy in action in 2 of the best weddings I’ve been to, I highly recommend you look to see if Jimmy is available for your wedding… you WILL NOT be disappointed. We wish we could go to more weddings with him there.

Citron did a great job at our wedding this summer. Ramsey was awesome, and played music that was well-​suited for our crowd. As the bride, I danced all night! It is so easy to get in touch with the company, the DJ will keep in touch, and overall, a great company that makes planning a big day a bit easier.
