Ac Smart Cooling

This company is a RIP OFF! We had a brand new unit from Penguin Air put in, a company I 100% support, and was offered a check up. After calling me 50 times in 3 months I had AC «Smart» come out and do a routine check up and cleaning. After getting us to sign up for a warranty, which turns out is 3 times the rate Penguin is offering currently. I have had issues with the house staying at the set temp, it’s always about 5 degrees warmer than set inside. The service was terrible from the get go, with Don (Claimed to be the owners son), sleeping through our scheduled time and showing up an hour late. The unit was checked out and said to have been cleaned. When he left about an hour later our air started struggling to get below 80 inside. I called him back and was given quite the rude attitude I have come to expect from this company. Fast forward two months and I have called Penguin back out because the house is still not cooling properly, with a brand new unit, and was told one of our covers, which was BOLTED on, had been torn off. This was the start of the good news about the service I was told I received. Our coils had never been cleaned, the freeon was never refilled and our unit was actually damaged instead of any service being performed. I would NEVER recommend you use this shady company. I am currently pursuing the termination of our contract and trying to keep my wife from seeking legal action. They are a cold call center that scams customers. Feels like Sears Auto from the 80’s…
I can’t give a low enough star rating at this time.

This is the same as AC Smart (or sometimes A/​C Smart) on William Dillard Drive in Gilbert. Not a company I’d recommend.
