Jacobs Custom Guitars

My husband and I recently moved to the area and one of his guitars was damaged during our move. After doing some research on potential repair shops in the area he decided on Jacobs Custom Guitars. They sell guitars, create custom guitars, restore guitars, and do a significant amount of repair work.
The owner, Tom, has been repairing guitars since the 70’s and they are a Guild Authorized Repair Shop. They can give you a repair estimate via their website or in store and they take mail in repairs as well. Some of the repair work they do includes: Fret Work, Neck Resets, Bridge Repair/​Replacement, Body Repair, and Finishing.
So far my husband has taken one guitar in for repair and one for setup. They were honest with him about the repair and did an «utterly fantastic job» on the setup.
My husband played a custom telecaster-​style guitar which he said, «both felt and sounded fantastic.» A great experience with a local company; we will be back!
