Wonderful time spending the weekend with friends. Big cabins, more than enough space for 10 ppl. Walking distance to Devils Head ski resort. Discounted lift tickets were available at the office. Great place for a getaway! Owners are great ppl, made me feel very welcome. Hope I came make this a regular trip

My husband and I rented out a cabin here this summer with two other couples and had a great time! I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and new our cabin was. I felt like I was staying in a hotel. Not to mention all of the amenities and our view! They had a full kitchen, free wi-fi, and outdoor grill. The only thing we had to bring was obviously our own food. The three bedroom cabin we rented had plenty of room for the six of us. It was about 20 minutes away from Devil Lake State Park and Wollersheim Winery. The owners were very nice and gave us maps of the area. We returned the Cabin the way we got it and had no problem getting our full deposit back. I definitely want to go back here again!!!

Just spent a weekend with friends and our kids. The cabin was very nice and clean and tidy when we checked in. There is a pond that we shoveled for ice-skating(at your own risk). It is sloped around the pond which was perfect for tubing. Essentially across the street from Devils Head(a mile drive maybe). Can see the Devils Head slopes from the property. Owners plowed the roads a few times a day when it snowed. This is a self service type of cabin. Not a lot of front desk staff, as I believe the owners are the only employees there. Bring your own soaps, garbage bags, and of course food/drink. We look forward to returning.

This is the worst costumer service I have ever encountered! My interaction with this company began with my attempts to inquire about cabin availability. As suggested by the website, I called several times to no avail, being directed to leave several voicemails that were never returned. I then attempted to contact via email, with no response for over 2 days. I was then informed via email that a cabin was available and exchanged the requested personal information as asked in order to secure the booking. This process took over a week and there was absolutely zero mention of how the required one nights deposit was to be obtained within email correspondence. Two days later, a Sunday at 7p.m., I receive a unknown phone call and resulting voicemail stating I needed to contact them by the end of the night with my credit card info or they are giving the room away to another party. I responded that night as well as the next morning, attempting to call several times with no answer and was once again directed to voicemail thus forcing me to go out of my way to try contact via email again. I did not receive a returned response until 24 hours later, a phone call by a woman to tell me the cabin had been given away. No apologies or suggestions for other lodging options were given, just complete dismissal of the situation. Upset that I was put through the motions of booking with no result, I appropriately communicated my frustration with their booking process, explaining to the woman what had happened. I stated my disappointment with no arguing, insults, or aggressive conversation what so ever on either end, ultimately ending the conversation on what I thought was a polite and conclusive note. Thus, I was offended to see the following morning I had received an incredibly insulting email from their employee, a man named Ron I had been emailing with through the initial booking process. The entire email aggressively stated it was my fault that the booking had fell through with statements that included, «Our preferred method of doing busines would be by phone. We could have answered your questions and addressed your concerns in five minutes, not two weeks.», suggesting I had failed by not contacting them by phone, an option that is not available to the costumer. He never apologized but instead stated«We did not get a call or at least a voice mail message by the end of the day, therefor we let the other party have the cabin.», again this occurred on a Sunday at 7p.m. and is a lie because I called several times as well as emailed with no response, to which he explained with«The office is not staffed full time and e-mail is only checked until 5pm». Insulted that he felt compelled to go to these extra lengths to insult me, I responded with a detailed and accurate account reminding him of what had actually happened as well as a request not to contact me via email or phone again. As someone who has worked in costumer service, I was completely shocked with the way they handled this situation, first failing to follow through on a booking through vacant communication, and more offensively through a email sent personally attacking me and suggesting I was at fault, a full day after I had politely ended my relationship with the company even after all this had happened. Do not expect anything from this company. Read all the other negative reviews before you attempt to do business with them as they do not have a track record for positive interaction.
