Hobby Lobby

The sales here are pretty good and the picture frames are always half off. The other frames in the back for art seem to go on sale every other weekend.
They have a good selection of art supplies which I use frequently. The jewelry section is good and there are great sales in this area.
They have an app too where you can get coupons! The only issue I had once was that I took a frame off the wall and had the framing girl cut a mat and put my picture together. I went to use my coupon (not on the labor but just the frame) and I got into an argument with the cashier. She told me that they cannot give a discount on an item that is put together. I just wanted a discount from the frame I pulled off the wall. She said they were told not to do that.
So I told her I do it all the time and she said kind snotty «well we are NOT supposed to do that!!» So I explained it to her differently. — So what you are saying is that I need to pick out a frame, then march my butt up here and pay for it with my coupon, then go back and have them cut a mat and put it together!!! I also showed her the coupon and no where on there did it say that the hanging frames in the back are excluded!
I asked for a manager and then she told me she was sorry and that it wasn’t a problem to give me the discount. My guess is that she’s had problems before and didn’t want to call the manager over.

Love Hobby Lobby!!! I love it when they are having sales.

Great selection of photographs, faux floral, and the odds & ends to arts and crafts. The best part about shopping here is waiting until things are ½ price or 70% off!
The layout is clean and concise. I rarely stand in long lines, which is great. I wouldn’t purchase anything full priced here, because its almost always guaranteed to be deeply discounted at some point (which would make me very cranky!)
Things perhaps to not buy here:
Soap base and candle wax base, you really don’t get enough for the price. I’d like to see Hobby Lobby increase their products… maybe compete a little more with Pier 1.
Also, this place is closed on Sundays. That’s a bummer, but it is what it is!

Wait for their ½ price sales, and you can find incredible deals on really unique items here. Mirrors, framed art, picture frames, furniture, pillows, and cool trinkets GALORE. They have everything to decorate your entire house in many different styles. We also picked up many high-​quality silks here when I got married. Regular prices are just a little high, but just be patient, because practically everything in the store will be ½ price at some point.
I shopped here around the holidays and filled my cart equally with gifts and fun stuff for me… since it’s ½ price, that means I can buy more :)
