Stopped by on my way to work today cause i was craving Ziti Bolognese. I called in the order and added a slice to it and got a Diet Coke too. I brought it to work and the gavones i work with all inhaled it with me. It was really good. I especially liked the fact that my boss was like Wait its Friday you can’t have meat. The hell i can’t. Im Baptist and im sure God is ok with me indulging on beef on a Friday. Stupid archaic dopey rule. I wish i had some leftovers to take a photo of it but it was all gone within minutes. If you think this spot is pricey you are a cheap fuck. Its really quite reasonable and the portions are huge. Stop being so grimy and asking for lunch menus and cheaper prices. You can’t afford to eat stay home. Meanwhile thanks Sal keep up the good work!!! Hilarious that some douche reported this for«racist comments and inappropriate language» BHAHAHAHHA Take it deep.

I visited Sabatino’s midweek for lunch w my fam. Milo was a fixture in the community for so long and wanted to continue to support w local establishment. I have gone there on several prior occasions for pizza and found their prices reasonable for speciality slices. However my lunch visit was a bit disappointing as they didn’t offer a lunch menu as Milos once did and other local establishments. The prices were very high especially for a small pizza place w attached dining. More so then other local pizzerias offering the same environment. Our quick bite to eat for the 3 of us turned into $ 85 when all was said and done, not at all what I expected when I sat down. The food wasn’t bad and wasn’t great, mediocre at best and certainly didn’t warrant the high prices. I’m a foodie so if the food was above and beyond, I wouldn’t be bellyaching about the price. My advice? Stick to their pizza. You can’t go wrong there.

I came here for the first time since the new management with some friends this weekend. I ordered pasta alla vodka with added chicken. It was delicious and the portion was perfect. My other friends ordered the balsamic chicken and chicken parm, both really enjoyed their meals as well. Service is very quick and attentive. There were a few mistakes on our bill but they were very nice about it which isn’t always the case at restaurants so I really appreciated that. I would come back and recommend this place to others.

I have to say I’m very impressed with Sabatino’s. Since the restaurant is under new management, I had to try it for myself. I thought the food was delicious! I had two regular pizza slices for a quick lunch and was very satisfied by the taste and quality of the food. You can tell the food is fresh and made with time and care. The quality is great and the prices are fair. Definitely check it out!

Wife and I used to love Milo’s and were disappointed when it was sold. Went here for the first time last night. Still had one of the old servers there and he knew us so service was excellent. Gave us a free slice of a grandma pie to try and we thought it was quite good. I ordered the shrimp parm hero and wife had chicken parm plate. My sandwich was very good as was the chicken. Wife had the plain salad which was just lettuce and tomato because she wanted hers sans olives and onion which is usually part of it. Prices were a little higher than they used to be but we enjoyed the meal very much. Free refills on the ice tea. Nice little neighborhood spot that we will go back to.

So sad that after so many years of loving Milos that the standards have slipped under new management. I used to get the gluten free pizza pie from Milos which was the best one of any pizzeria in the area, while also being the cheapest. Since Milos became Sabatinos, the new gluten free pie is easily the worst of all pizzerias in the area and now more expensive. According to my dad, the taste of the regular gluten-ful pizza has also plummeted, with prices all around soaring. So disappointing that such a great go-to spot is gone :(.

Ordered a cheese pie & it tasted like reheated frozen pizza, just very bland. No cheesiness to it, crust was bland, and sauce tasted like something out of a can. Garlic knots were dry… again it tasted like store bought frozen food that had been reheated. Not impressed.

Ordered a cheese pizza and garlic knots and was highly disappointed in both. The pizza was bland with a sauce that tasted like cheap store pasta sauce. The cheese tasted very cheap as well. The garlic knots tasted like dough and nothing else. Not worth the price.

When we first moved to Merrick 3+ years ago, our neighbors turned us on to Milo’s, and we are so glad they did. In fact, we ordered from there nearly weekly. The penne ala vodka was incredible, the meatballs were very good and very generously sized and the chicken francese was always tasty. As a bonus, the people were always very friendly and accommodating. We looked forward to our meals, and we even catered our son’s birthday party with trays from Milo’s. We were therefore very disappointed when we saw that Milo’s had changed owners, but we thought we would give the new Sabatinos a shot. Unfortunately, it was not very good. The penne ala vodka was bland and watery, and the meatballs must have gone on a diet, because they were tiny. We didn’t try the chicken. The store also had a decidedly different vibe, although it could be because they didn’t know us and we were regulars with the old staff. All in all, this place went from great to generic, and we will not be back. A shame.

How do you make totally tasteless pizza? This is new owner of what was Milo’s. Pizza is my gauge. If I don’t like the pizza, not going back for the food!

We were hoping that this place would be as good as Milos but sadly it is just mediocre. We ordered two calzones and a sausage roll, the calzones were disappointing, the cheese wasn’t even properly melted, the sausage roll had no onions just sausage and peppers, the crust was doughy, no marinara dipping sauce was provided or offered. Just not a good first impression.

Got a Sicilian pie which was my usual at Milo’s but the pie was at and incredibly small, hardly even filled half the box. And it tasted worse than frozen pizza to me. Sadly RIP Milo’s, gotta find a new pizza place now

Wanted desperately to like this place because I was a regular to Milo’s but I can’t get past the soggy and tasteless margherita pie and inedible shrimp parm hero. Even the salad was bad. Such a shame. It’s a new place so my hope is they read these reviews and adapt accordingly. I’ll give it another shot in a month.
