Holiday Inn Express & Suites Boise West – Meridian

Clean, friendly and one of the better Holiday Inn express locations I have stayed at. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby and easy drive from the airport.

We stayed here driving through town. We picked this hotel for a few reasons:
Large, free breakfast — there we so many options that I was overwhelmed as to what I wanted. They had delicious cinnamon rolls and pancakes!
We had our dog with us and they are pet-​friendly!
Our room was large, quiet and the bed was very comfortable.
This hotel is a bit out of the way but an easy drive into downtown Boise and worth it to pay less than some of the pricier hotels downtown.

By far my favorite HI Express I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed at many locations this past year. New hotel, nice décor, 24 hour pool, spa and fitness center and very nice staff. We were upgraded to a king whirlpool suite and it was awesome! 2 tvs, big jetted whirpool (3 person ish) with a separate sitting area, double sided fireplace, huge shower, 2 sofa beds and a wet bar. Would definitely recommend to others.

Holiday Express Inn was wonderful. We were on our way to visit family in Oregon and decided to stop in Boise. We didn’t get into Boise until after midnight and every place we called was full. Holiday inn had 3 rooms left and the front desk lady was so kind and helpful, she gave us a better rate than was online. The room was nice, the toilet seat could have used a scrub but overall clean and orderly. The morning breakfast was really nice, everything looked delicious and there was something for every kind of eater.

I don’t recall ever giving a hotel five stars and for this place I just can’t be honest giving it anything less. It is clean, the staff is friendly, breakfast is decent, coffee is hot even in the afternoon, beds are comfortable, the halls are wide, there are excellent sitting areas and much more. My wife are currently in a three day stay and I would sure come back.

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was, hands down, the best hotel bfast I’ve had in a while. The pool area and workout rooms were well maintained and the staff were so kind. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was comfortable and very clean for our family of 5. The staff was super nice. We enjoyed the hearty complimentary breakfast every morning.
Breakfast consisted of eggs, biscuits, gravy, and breakfast meats. An automatic pancake machine was available and fun to use, although the pancakes were just ok. They had cereals, fruit, milk, yogurt, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, breads, muffins, hot cinnamon rolls. We were very happy with the breakfast and staff. Very friendly and helpful.
The pool was clean. We visited in the summer, so the pool area was very warm.
We LOVE the blinds on the room windows. They did an excellent job at keeping the light out. This was a huge PRO for us because of the time difference for us; we slept in. Wish more places had blinds on their windows.
The one CON I have is that the dresser drawers are VERY SMALL and there were only 3 of them. The outside of the dresser makes it «look» like they are large but when they are slid open, they are actually very small. This was my only disappointment of the entire stay.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay with a friendly and helpful staff.

This is, by far, the cleanest and most modernly decorated HI Express I’ve ever been in, and we are Priority Club members, so we’ve been in a LOT. I trust that Holiday Inn Express wherever we go will follow the standard that is set by the hotel chain. Wherever you go, you’re guaranteed that a standard will be followed. The breakfast area in this hotel is gorgeous. High ceilings, modern tables and chairs — it’s well put together. ALL of the rooms are suites, which means there are two queen beds, and a couch departed by a partial wall. We were greeted by a very friendly and polite receptionist, and I even was able to grab the kids a cookie upon arriving from the front lobby. This was nice because they were tired and hungry. I think our room was $ 129. Nice!

i stayed here for 2 nights (end of Feb 2014). great hotel, under 2-​years old, very spacious hallways, rooms are of great setup. bed is very average, very stiff, but pillows are comfy.
air conditioning does not work so good or quiet, it can be left on but cold air blows straight at bed, it should go a bit up or down… and it is kind of loud, but can get used to…
rooms have nice couch and a coffee table!!! …small refrigerator and microwave!!!
there are 3 computer stations, and you are not limited what you can do, these computers kind of slow, but you can surf, type, scan and print (black – white).
I love about this property that there are no cameras on every corner, you feel «free»!!! –no one is watching you everywhere in the property like most of other hotels, no big-​brother”!!!
location is good and quiet, around hotel there is almost nothing, but if you walk 5 – 10 minutes you get to few fast food joints, and a bit farther there is a mall…
