The food is always good and filling and they have a nice wine list. The food is always changing and they have healthier portions.

Unimpressive. The service was mediocre at best. My kids ordered sundaes for which we waited far too long. (Our waitress said they had run out of ice cream and had to run out and get some. Wish she would have told us instead of letting us wait) The «sundaes» arrived sans whipped cream or cherry and the ice cream flavor was unidentifiable. To top it off, the ice cream was full of ice crystals. When we brought this to our server’s attention, she said «At least it’s cold». No apologies, no offers to take them off the bill. Getting the manager involved didn’t help. He put us on a pity trip, telling us he had only been there five months and was trying to turn things around. Still no offers of compensation. Ugh.
Also, $ 8.99 is excessive in my opinion, for an understocked salad bar that includes wilted lettuce.

One of the better attractions of Meriden.
I usually get a burger here and it is around $ 10 which isn’t too bad, but the burgers are nothing to write home about. The salad bar is where its at.
Staff is normal. Friendly and punctual from what I remember.
Burgers always gave me digestive problems. Not sure what was going on there, but a quick trip to the bathroom and I was ready to rock and roll.
There is often a wait, so they must be doing something right eh?
You can do call ahead seating and shop around the mall while you wait for a seat to open (they give you and ETA).
Not the best place to go to eat, but probably the only good restaurant in East side? Meriden.

I come to this location at least once a week because it is my favorite chain resturant. The staff is very nice and quickly comes to our needs as soon as we sit down. On occasion the manager will walk around and ask how our meal and service was, which is very nice. I love the salad bar and the woman that i see who has been working there for a while keeps it stocked and clean. The only complaint i do have is that this resturant is a bit dark. Other then that food is great.

it’s ok.
usually on my list not to go to. but we went to this one. i got a burger it was good. i got fries and onion rings. i absolutely HATE the texture of onions (but yes i like onion rings!) so i asked to cook them extra. like almost over cooked but not burnt. they didn’t come to how i asked. do i just ate the breading off them. i also asked for extra cheese on my burger. didn’t get that either. but it’s ok. it’s definitely a once every couple months kind of place. especially this one

The usual cookie cutter food and ambience.
I ordered the mixed grill and enjoyed my tiny steak that was cooked dead-​on, however the grilled shrimp skewer had a strange, sickly sweet sauce that ruined that part of the meal for me and the rice pilaf had an out of place ‘pico de gallo’ type garnish that did not compliment the dish at all.
My chicken was also labeled as ‘blackened’ and was anything but.
Oh well.
Delicious strawberry lemonade and bbq ribs. Grilled zuchini was a nice touch as a side dish and our waitress was a pro at her job.
Salad bar is available but rather small. and for $ 8.99 I’d like to see more options.
Overall, I was fed, I was full, and it didn’t break the bank.

Food– ok. not bad for grilled chicken and veggies. Service was pretty good our server was attentive even refilling waters (often over looked if water is your only drink).
I would have rated 2 – 3 stars if not for …
The atmosphere– gross. It was very very dirty it even smelled dirty!!! Thick greasy dust on woodwork ledges, floor/​tile had not seen a clean mop or cleaning product in years, splatter on framed pictures-​again visibly covered with dust and grease, and the bathroom moldy caulking around sink counter, dirt, dust, grime on walls and floor filthy.
On my way out I even told the manager, «food and service was good, but the restaurant was dirty» he looked shocked not quite believing what I said and asked, «dirty where?» I did not know where to start.
Makes one wonder what the kitchen is like.

Dark dingy restaurants creep me out. After seeing another customer use her fingers at the salad bar to grab food and hear a former employee tell me the kitchen is infested with roaches, I’d rather eat at home… for the rest of my life!

I went here because we were already in the mall and hungry. I started with the salad bar, which was quite good, but unfortunately this was the best part of the meal. Both of our meals tasted like frozen dinners. The portions were also pretty small. Overall, we were very disappointed and do not plan on returning.
