Kumon Math and Reading Center of Mercer Island

Tutoring isn’t cheap but sometimes it’s critical for helping your child. We started with Kumon last summer for our son now in 2^nd grade.
Queenie Louie is the director for Factoria and Mercer Island. She is kind yet firm with her students. The program is great — the foundation is start with what the student can handle and then practice, practice, practice. As the student masters a level, they go on to the next level.
They cover math and reading. They work with pre-​K through high school. The work does not take a lot of time for the student, but it’s daily practice with one visit per week to the center.
Kumon is an affordable solution for extra help that our schools don’t provide. I highly recommend Queenie and her 2 centers. Others are located throughout the area, franchise owned.
