Went here last night and it was amazing! We went to Hobbs grove the night before and the lines were a nightmare and the attractions weren’t very scary. This place blows the doors off of Hobbs Grove. Short lines and super scary! The actors were awesome! Barnyard slaughter was so scary and even the hay ride was scary, and the zombie raid was awesome! I would recommend this place any day!!!

Do they pay the people that work there? I don’t go to Walmart bc of the way they treat their workers, so why would I want to give money to a business that doesn’t make it clear if they’re going to pay their«employee“s and has a lot of young«volunteers». Shady, be aware of where you spend your money.

Went for my first time, it was a great experience. The staff there is awesome! One of the staff members even let me take a pumpkin home for my baby brother. Everyone should go!

Went tonight for the first time to this event. It was absolutely amazing. The walk through the barn house was 10 minutes. It had me screaming and clutching my 18 year old son. Great props, lots of scarrryyy ghouls jumping and screaming at you. I’ve gone to haunted house every year for several years and this is the best one. They also have a zombie raid where you seated and strapped to a seat on a flat bed and are shooting paint balls at zombies. That was exciting. They’re driving crazy wild through a cornfield and you shoot zombies as you come upon them. There set up is nice. They have food drinks and memorabilia for sale. Very organized. Most definitely worth it.

Prefer it to Hobb’s Grove No trip hazards in the Barnyard Slaughter like there are throughout Hobb’s haunted house. You sit on bales of hay like a bench in the Frightmare Express hayride whereas Hobb’s has you sitting on loose hay straw in the wagon bottom(try getting up from that if you are mature and/or have arthritis). Zombie Raid paintball from the back of a fast moving truck through a corn field is awesome fun that can’t be beat(you won’t regret paying the $ 5 for extra paintballs). Corn Cannon was actually fun sport you won’t find at Hobb’s. Nothing says Fall like hot cocoa at Frightmare Farms but you won’t find it at Hobb’s. I look forward to going to Frightmare Farms next year to paintball some zombies(I think they might be high school kids under the padded costumes and I apologize for any bruises I may have inflicted).

Start off with the Frightmare Express, which is a haunted hay ride. For those of you unfamiliar with this(as I was), it’s where you sit in the back of a truck on a bunch of bales of hay and drive through cornfields while fun and«spooky» things happen. I won’t give it all away. I would just recommend that you do this first, since it’s the least scary. The Barnyard Slaughter is really delightful if you’re a fan of haunted houses. I clocked our walk through the house at 10 minutes. They let you in at a good pace, so you’ll never run into the people in front of you. The sets are pretty spectacular and you also see some of the people coming out completely terrified. Others leave with nervous laughter. We enjoyed every minute of it. The Zombie Raid is best reserved as the last stop for haunted fun times. Why? Because you get to shoot real paint ball guns at «zombies.» They load you into a truck with about ten seats, all with springy pivoting chairs reminiscent of those springy little horses that kids ride around in playgrounds. The difference is that they rev up the engine and drive you out to the cornfields at probably fifty miles an hour, causing you to swerve and sway all over the place, while also pumping up your adrenaline. Although we paid for the extra $ 5 for the 100 rounds, I don’t think it’s necessary, unless you’re a hardcore gamer and can fire a bunch of rounds at a time.(Of course, it’s also limited to how fast the gun can reload as well.) Anyway, you get to shoot paint balls at poor kids dressed like zombies. You can tell it hurts because I accidentally shot a guy below the belt and he started moving his hands in zombie like fashion to block that region. I did feel bad, but not bad enough to stop shooting, though I mostly aimed for his face and chest. Paint balls hurt! I wouldn’t recommend small children come here, as you might have to deal with their nightmares for the next few weeks(or perhaps scar them for life), but teenagers and preteens seemed to have fun here(by my observation). Definitely do all three if it’s available. The Zombie Raid isn’t always available to do and is cancelled often, apparently.

We bought tickets for the Barnyard Slaughter and Frightmare Express. Both were super scary! We had an amazing time! Best«haunted house» type experience I have had. Not for small children! A new Halloween must for my family!

This place is amazing! I brought the whole family and everyone loved it. The zombie raid was heart pounding and intense. The haunted hay ride was not was I was expecting… I was jumping the entire ride. My favorite was the haunted barn. Screams at every turn.
