My family and I went to Dr. Pang and we were really impressed with his service and compassion for his patients. I’ve had horrible experiences from my previous dentists in Los Angeles, and I was nervous about finding a dentist in a new city (I moved to Merced with my husband about a year ago). My last dentist would quote me for services that I did not need and then send bills through the insurance, without warning me about them first. I do not like or work with shady dentists, however Dr. Pang is the complete opposite of that. He was very upfront with the service that I needed and the coverage from my insurance. He gave me alternate options that would save me a ton of money, and made sure that I was comfortable with every decision made. He took great care of my family and I and made sure that we were 150% pleased with his service and his staff’s. I will not be changing dentists and I would suggest Dr. Pang to anyone who wants an honest and caring dentist. He is definitely the go to dentist, and in fact, I have a couple of friends and cousins that go to him as well.

I started seeing Dr. Pang when my previous dentist retired. I think his staff is very professional & courteous. Dr. Pang is a very conscientious dentist. My previous dentist barely spent any time with me and never gave any advice or recommendations. Dr. Pang takes the time to talk to you and make suggestions. My only small issue is that the office needs to better understand insurance restrictions. I have a yearly cap and had to remind about it a couple of times when they wanted to schedule appointments sooner than I could do. But they understood and we’re very nice about it.

Find another dentist! My family and I were seen here by Dr. Pang he was very nice. However he gave us service without telling me my insurance wouldn’t cover 100%! Now I am stuck with a $ 500 bill after my insurance has paid their part. All the receptionist said was, «well it’s patience’s responsibility to request a prior authorization». Really but if I didn’t have insurance I bet they would have discussed the cost of my visit before providing services. Bad, Bad business!

Dr. Pang always provides excellent service and helps make the dental experience as least painful as possible!
He is very personable and has a great sense of humor. When your Dentist calls you at 7p.m. to check up on you, you know he cares.
