i had to write a review after seeing the only other comment being a negative one. I just have to say I’ve used this company to seal my house from mice getting in, setting bait both inside and out(and yes, the mice can die inside if you haven’t found the point of entry yet). I’ve also used them to try to help me get the coyotes off of our bluff. They tried to trap the babies in order to scare the mom off the property. We only caught other little animals(which were set free right away), but it was enough to scare the coyotes off of our property. This is a family run business I believe, and they have all been wonderful, and very reasonable in price!

They will gladly take your $ 200 to set mouse bait so the rodents can die in your walls and stink up your house. But don’t expect them to care when you call. PJ, one of the owners came out in August and set mouse bait both inside and outside of my home and charged me over $ 200 for the inspection, bait set-up and their quarterly maintenance program, which I could cancel at any time. I was told the rodents would«eat the bait, get thirsty due to the nature of the poison(I was told«it’s a coagulant»), flee into the woods seeking water and die there. Less than 2 weeks after the poison was placed we started smelling rotting mouse! I called AWC and spoke with a female who told me, and I’m paraphrasing, «This sometimes happens, there’s really nothing you can do other than go get some candles and Glade plug-ins, the citrus scent, that should help». At no time did anyone ask if I would like someone to come out and check the boxes, if I wanted to speak with P.J. or if I would like anything else done. NEVER. The rotting smelled continued ALLSUMMER/FALL long! It wasn’t until October I had a message on my phone from them asking to come out and inspect the bait boxes. I did not return the call because I knew I would be cancelling the service. At this time(beginning of Nov.) we were again seeing droppings inside the house. We set traps and our own bait. I immediately caught 4 mice, the bait was eaten and we’ve not seen NOR smelled a mouse since. Today, 12÷19÷14, I received another call from AWC asking to inspect the bait boxes and I told the secretary, Jenny, I would not be continuing the service, I was very unhappy and I would like to speak with PJ. When he called me back he spoke to me in a very condescending manner essentially scolding me for not calling them more often over the past few months to tell them I was not happy. I explained again how I HAD called and was told nothing could be done about the issue. He also insinuated I was lying about not receiving their calls they supposedly made to my cell phone in the months of Sept., Oct. and Nov. asking to check the boxes. As I said I only got 1 call from them. No company’s owner should talk to one of its customers this way. Not a good business plan. I’m the customer, I spent my money with you. I called you to express concern and was dismissed. PJ, you should have made things right with me. I asked you to refund me at least a portion of what I paid you and you did NOTHING. All you did offer was to come out and inspect the boxes again. What is that going to do for me and my dissatisfaction? DONOTWASTEYOURHARD-EARNEDMONEYWITHTHISCOMPANY! Get your own traps, use peanut butter, mice love it! Get a big bucket of poison from a big box store and line the perimeter of your yard(if you have pets use the bait boxes) and you WILL take care of the rodents and they will NOT die in your home.
