My Olde Tyme Barber Shop

This is a great place to get a barbershop haircut. My best part is that all the barbers do a great job. I don’t have to worry about avoiding any of them. They shave your neck with hot shaving cream. The price is fair. The let you call ahead and schedule an appointment, or they will pull a number for you.

I won’t be back. I have been going here for quite a while. I liked this place even though it was a little more pricey than I liked. I was there Friday and was sitting next to this overweight pig-​looking loudmouth who started out saying something about Dagos. I’ m Italian. He then went on with his little Republican rant about how the Democrats are messing everything up and Obama was a moron. He was probably a bigot too, but only so much diarrhea can come out of one person in 15 minutes. This was in the morning and it put a bad spin on the rest of my day. I just don’t need that crap. Whenever I went to Best Cuts or Great Clips this kind of talk didn’t happen. I’m done with «old time barber shops.» If you are a loudmouth Republican and an Italian hater, this place is just perfect for you!

It only took one time for my fiancé and teenage son to get their haircuts here after Mike left for us to part ways. They both came home with terrible haircuts. Too much off the fiancé and not enough off my son who needed a haircut 3 weeks later when he usually lasts 6 weeks. Another peeve is that they close early at 5:30 on weeknights and 2pm on Saturdays. Won’t be back.

Working in Mentor from DC. Needed a good cut before the weekend. Tami knocked it out of the park! Man, there is nothing like a perfect clipper fuss free fade and warm shave of a true Barber Shop. Right on time. Rolled the dice and found a winner! See you next time Old Tyme…

Best place to go in the east side of Cleveland. Straight razor to the back of the neck cleans you up just right. I only really used 2 barbers there as I only trust men with scissors to my head. First you have Lou, who is the owners son, and cuts great hair. I prefer to go with Mike, Rag, Romito. He cuts your hair so carefully it’s like he’s trimming your undercarriage. The man is like Picasso with a pair of scissors in his hand, or shall I say, Edward Scissorhands.
