No real or major complaints about this place. The mushroom & swiss bomber that I got was pretty good & so were the fries. The food also came out super quick too. Huge menu too. I can see what people are saying about the high school/teenager attitude, but I had no problems with any of them or any of it. I also don’t know about the whole, «one refill per person» signs posted above the fountain drinks. I always thought the point of having those machines is for unlimited refills. I felt a little weird being in there, bc at least 95% of the patrons were senior citizens. That’s not the typical overwhelming clientele you’ll find at places like this, but maybe it’s bc of the B52 Bombers name & association. I’m guessing a lot of the people here flew those planes or were involved in some way hence the direct relation. Again, nothing too bad but nothing overly special. Prices were decent too. The combo meal I got(the burger, fries(there were a lot of them) and the soda was about $ 8). I wouldn’t go out of my way to go(back) here again, but it doesn’t mean I’d never go back.

Last time I was here went through the drive thru. There was one car ahead of me and it took 20 minutes just to get the window. There was a car in front behind me so I couldn’t leave. And was greeted by a rude teenage kid who insisted he couldn’t hear what I ordered although he repeated it and to me and gave me the price. I didn’t pay and left to Cravers on Appleton Ave. I highly recommend it. Thought I’d give it another try tonight and hopefully a different teenager untrained in customer service would be there. Again rudely treated, by another high schooler. And they screwed up my order. If you like incompetent useless teenagers making and serving your food, this is the place for you. Don’t waste your money on this place go to Cravers or Pops. THISISTHEWORSTPLACEEVER! I will starve to death before I go back.

I Have been reluctant to go here because one of my biggest pet peeves with restaurants in this day and age is no online menu so I’m going to post one. The building has a mock air port tower which has always caught my eye. The place looked clean as far as I could tell with nothing standing out, even a real plate above the trash area where the plastic trays would go. The whole interior is aviation heavy with planes everywhere you look and it is kind of neat. This place Is clearly the area hang out for the older crowd because the customers and staff new each other by name I noticed during the short time I waited for take out. I can definitely see the charm as a community hang out place with the comfort food menu and cold treats in an aviation theme setting. The place is deceiving because it looks like a gyro and burger place but the menu is huge with full Greek place offerings with dinners that include stuffing and mash tators and gravy, see the menu I will post. This place also has a malt shop with plenty of cold sweet tooth options and if you like they have take home treat options for the cold stuff. There face book page claims worlds best gyros so that’s what I ordered. Our order came pretty quick and the staff was friendly enough. The gyro smelled and looked good with a soft fresh pita filled with gyro, onion and tomato. The gyro was a little salty and on the dry side compared to the Johnny Vs gyro and eggs which is moist and has a deeper lamb flavor which I had for breakfast the day before. After that being said why do I do Johnny Vs gyros more than anyone else with breakfast and not as sandwich ?. This is not the worlds best gyro because Oakland gyro is awesome and they were not dethroned today. It is your solid average gyro if you have tried most of the Milwaukee area offerings. Overall my gyro was just average but I did like the variety and the prices of the menu so I would come back again. On a cold day the meat loaf dinner with mash and gravy with bread and a side salad for $ 8.75 would make a great work lunch so we have to go back.

Great food. Thick burgers. Gyros are good too. Dislikes are .80 cents for a extra piece of cheese and the covers for there drinks… you’ll know what I mean when you try and put your straw in :) and the staff is not all there. Especially the really really old guy. Dont go in his line. Atmosphere was ok. Kinda clean. I go there for the burgers with no extra cheese :)

Worst chicken sandwich I’ve had in my life. I would of been better off ordering a bun with lettuce and tomato.

This place is one of my temptations/craving place. I love getting their gyros… they are delicious! Yummmmm. Their milkshakes never fail either. Love this place!

Normally the food is good, and I thought i would try the steak fajitas. These were the worst! I was on my way home and did the drive thru. This wasnt the best choice. The flour tortillas were pretty much in pieces wrapped in foil. It turned into picking out of the container with a fork, and it tasted pretty plain. Stick with the burgers

Fiancé and I both got a gyro combo, he finished his and I got halfway, both stuffed. Plan to split one next time to save room for ice cream. Just wish they’d pick one of the loud tvs or the radio to play, not all three

Ordered the the usual burger, fries, and drink. I love pitta so I had to try that also but everything aside from the fries was terrible. I don’t know what it was about the burger(maybe the bread) but it did not taste very good. Overall I think this place is overrated.

I came Sunday for lunch. The food was okay, a little greasy but I guess that’s what you have to expect. The interior could use a little updating and cleaning.

One of the worst burger/sandwich places… Although i liv pretty close to thai place i never go here due to the bad food(which i tried couple of years ago) when i originally moved here. Food is too greasy and the place is dirty.

I’ve been here a dozen or so times when I just want complete gastronomic satisfaction! Gyros and Italian Combos are the best I’ve had in Wisconsin. Keep it going gang!

I ate here for the first time today and ordered a fish sandwich. It was AWFUL! No cheese and it reeked. My friend that went as well ordered a gyro and it did not have any cucumber sause. Not a good experience. I probably wont be back

Ate there with a friend today for the first time… awesome Chicago style hot dog — the real thing. Nice big onion rings. The booth seats were very comfortable… not cramped like at most places. Great atmosphere. Would definitely go back. Gotta try one of their burgers next time.

I ate here for the first time today an although the décor reminds you a 1970’s McDonald’s and the crowd is easily on the senior citizen plan, however the food was great. I had a Gyro and was not disappointed. The french fries are«steak fries», which I love. All in all, its good and runs about $ 7.50 for lunch. Well worth it…

B-52 is an interesting place. Think typical Milwaukee Greek family restaurant meets fast food. But better, much better. I first went here when I was deep into my pregnancy. We had driven past it hundreds of times and I’ve always been curious about what it was, so we stopped in. We were very pleasantly surprised. Big portions of good food. You can never go wrong with that. My boyfriend loves the meatloaf. I’m partial to the roast beef sandwich. Try them both…

To be fair, B52 is known for its burgers, but they also offer breakfast which is when we ate there. Prices are really reasonable…2 eggs, hash browns and toast for $ 2.30. Portions are large. But our experience was very disappointing. I had the pancake combo which included 3 pancakes, three sausage llinks and hash browns for under $ 4.00. You order at the counter and are given a number and your food is delivered to the table. Food is served on plastic plates and you pick up your plastic utensils, napkins and ketchup where you fill your own beverages. When my pancakes arrived, the aroma was one of a cake baking and the pancakes were on the sweet side. The sausages were skinny links and the hash browns were very crispy. I love crispy hash browns but these lacked flavor. Unfortunately, the links didn’t have much flavor either. The atmosphere was cute and if you have a child who is into planes this would be a fun location choice. The ceiling is painted with planes and there are model planes all around the edge of the ceiling including a really cool one made out of beer cans. The chair backs have a plane cut out of the back so they really know how to follow through on a theme(which explains my 2nd star). They also serve lunch and dinner and the menu is huge which always makes me question how one place with so few tables can excel at everything. A heavy reliance on frozen ingredients rather than fresh probably explains the lack of flavor we experienced. Trying to be too many things to too many people. Upon entering there was a heavy disinfectant smell. Staff was neither rude nor cordial. I might go back to try their burgers but I wouldn’t go for breakfast again.

A big sloppy burger, yea, that’s what i was after. Most days I eat lunch in the cube, checking my email and surfing a bit, but i needed to get out that day and I’d seen this B-52 place over by the Pick’n’Save and I thought maybe, just maybe, they’d offer a decent burger. and they do, oh happy day, and they are called Bombers! Get it, B-52 Bomber? Several varieties are offered: Southwest bomber, Northern Bomber(with a few slices of what i guess is Canadian Bacon, but I’ve never been to Canada so what do I know anyway), California Bomber. Then theres the roast beef sanwich and a patty melt that’s got more cheese than I’ve ever seen on a patty melt. Gyros are good too, lots of meat and sauce. The burgers are big and sloppy and great for lunch. They are big though so, unless you’ve got a serious appetite, think twice before getting fries with that.
