No facebook tour is completed without a visit to this sweet shop. I love the freshness and taste of the dessert. There are plenty of selection and many gluten free options as well. I love the ice cream here and the toppings are great. They have a unique whip cream here, and you can also make your own root beer or coke float which is great. Also there is a shelf right when you walk in to get candy and sweets. Absolutely love this place!

It doesn’t matter what time, or day, you come in, you will expect to leave with something so deliciously scrumptious — it’s wonderful they’re just a few steps away from me! Or not, but whatever… I’m not here often enough to worry that it’s all going down to my hips anyways o. O Their ice creams rotate as do some of their baked goods to fit the season we’re currently in. Froyo also rotates. It’s so nice they do this so we don’t feel like our taste buds ever get a chance to plateau or bottom out to the same mundane flavors. Not here homies! Their toppings bar also rotates… they’ve gotten this whole dessert, sweet tooth takeover covered I’m tellin’ ya… Some things are available usually all the time, like their syrups, but candy toppings always change. You’ll have gummy bears, then Oreo cookie bark, then cookie dough… it’s insane what they come up with. It almost feels like Willy Wonka himself is back there conjuring all this sweetness up! There’s one door to get in, one door to get out so it doesn’t get too crazy. Lines are fast moving and you never really experience any claustrophobia since you’re basically in and out. There are cocktail tables and couches inside so you can enjoy your sweets there or take it outside on their storefront tables. Where ever you enjoy it, you’re sure to indulge.

Being able to come downstairs and have any amount of dessert, immediately, for free, is amazing. Bonus points for having Tin Pot Creamery, waffle cone Fridays, and banana split Wednesdays. The shop used to be called«Sweet Shop» when it first opened. But people started pulling out their wallets to pay, because it was a «shop», so now it’s called«Sweet Stop» because stop taking out your wallet to pay! My one complaint is my weekly affogato could be more consistent if we had gelato. Can we upgrade to that? /cc Culinary Feedback Kid.

Perhaps the second best thing to working for Facebook is eating at Facebook HQs. Coming to this place felt like being Charlie Bucket in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Every where I looked there was magical things occurring. I was in a world of pure imagination. Oh look! An interactive wall showcasing all the people in the world connected to Facebook. The brick work and clean white lines of building trim juxtaposed with the pastel wall paint is warm and inviting. The quad space where all the dining venues are is huge and graciously invites the warm California sun to shine down. People are smiling and happy and it’s exactly how people should live. No surprise than when you walk into the Sweet Stop everyone is fully dressed with smiles. Sweetened pastries and creamy delights are given graciously by the friendly staff. The same hues of pastel colors paint an inviting and clean space. Confectionery pieces of art are showcased through glass coolers and mason jars. And all of these treasures of heavenly desserts are absolutely free. When I stared at the faces surrounding me I felt time slow down. People were laughing. Food was shared freely. There wasn’t a frown in sight and for me, the thought that developed boldly in my mind was, «This is how society should be.» Maybe it was the buzz of a fattened belly and satiated curiosity that filled me with childlike wonderment but I’m certain that if you want a strong note to finish your visit to Facebook, the Sweet Stop is the place to wrap up your opus of festive visitation.

Love coming here on break. It feels like I revert back into a little kid when I walk in the door. Staff is wonderful to boot. Only selfish suggestion? Fruity pebbles for the ice cream bar, I like drizzling them on my froyo.

My friend’s hubby work there and I was so blessed to be invited there. It’s an amusement park with cute little store ‘cafetaria’ Can’t complaint when it’s free. But I have to admit, the ice cream and the people are so nice there. I got the mexican chocolate which is very rich, so delicious. The cupcake was good looking but I have no space to try. Would I come back for free lunch/dessert? no doubt! Thanks Mark and Allan

One of customers at FB took me for our meeting and what a treat! I wish all my meetings were like this. Ice cream, brownies, cupcakes, froyo… plus a solid toppings bar. Then sit outside, talk some biz and maybe catch a sight of the $ 64B man. Who wouldn’t like this? Before you head out, you need to know a FB employee to get in. Just in case you were wondering

When visiting friends that work at Facebook last week, we stopped by this dessert shop for some sweets! It’s so awesome how FB has this store just for employees and their guests. I got in line and ordered 2 scoops: (1) Cookies & cream (2) Strawberry Sweet, creamy, rich, and delightfully cold. I loved both flavors — how could you go wrong w/2 favorite flavors of all time?! :) The line was short too. There are other dessert offerings inside too, like tarts and brownies, cookies, frozen yogurt, etc. I didn’t have any of the other items; just got warped into the ice cream line immediately. haha So glad I got to experience this shop, thanks to my FB friends! btw — everything was FREE.

I love that the hours are extended so I can actually get some delicious dessert when I visit friends in the evening! I love the brownies and chocolate chip cookies. The other day I had an Irish coffee brownie that was divine. The Bailey’s fraiche yogurt wasn’t great, but I’d try other flavors some other time. Would I come back? yes!

So this place has ice cream, desserts that vary daily, they do have a froyo machine but I have yet to see it turned on/working? A toppings bar for your ice cream, Italian style tables, where you stand and eat your treats with your company. Outside seating for those nice Bay Area days. But honestly? Who could miss free ice cream at Facebook? Not me, EVER!

This reminds me of 50cent’s song — Candy Shop! I know that this wasn’t what the rapper had in mind when he said, «I’ll take you to the candy shop» so I wasn’t surprised to find that they didn’t carry any lollipops either! But they did have something better… way better… Fraiche yogurt — Homemade and organic! All of Fraiche’s frozen yogurts are made in-house. For those craving something a little more sinful, they also have full cream dairy ice-creams and sweet baked goods(brownies, lemon meringue tarts, etc). The Sweet Stop is every kid’s dream come true and the reason why dentistry is a lucrative occupation! Enjoy in moderation :)

This and the Arcade are like the most unbelievably awesome FB benefits. You walk into a dessert store, and don’t have to pay! Bring a guest, and they’re always shocked(in a good way).

Free desserts! Yay! You can get ice cream scoop atop a cone. Yum. You can make a root beer float. Yum! You can get two cookies and squish ice cream in between. Also yum! Lots of yum going all around up in here.

Hey if you get in it’s free. That’s bonus right there. They have fresh fro-yo, lots of ice cream, and cupcakes and cookies. Better dessert than the cafeteria. Come here and get your sweets.

This isn’t really a business the masses can just visit cause they want to. It’s like a speakeasy, cause you gotta know someone who works at Facebook to even go… Soooooo I don’t know how relevant this review will be to peeps… Just saying… The desserts are probably about 3 stars… but the fact that its free makes me a fan :) If its free, its me okay gangsta? They have froyo from Fraiche though, but they only have like 3 flavors…(sad face)

Sweet Stop is the latest **FREE** food establishment to open on the Facebook Campus. Pros: — Their froyo is from Fraiche — Amazing selection of freshly baked goodies such as baby pumpkin pies, rice krispy treats, and cupcakes(Why should you have to wait until lunch or dinner is served to get your dessert fix?) — Did I mention its all free? Cons: — You have to know someone at Facebook to check it out Anyways, the food here is truly spectacular– their pastry chefs truly take pride in the food they make. It is not only sweet and rich, but every piece is a tiny bit of art. When the place officially opened this morning, it was *exactly* like that scene in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory when Willy Wonka opens the huge doors and lets all the kiddies run inside and start grabbing all the chocolate and candies they can stuff their face with.
