Look

AWFUL. I went into Look located in San Jose Valley Fair Mall and I purchased this dress that came to about 200 $. I expected a dress that was worth 200 $ in quality. I was wrong. I bought this dress for New Years Eve and twenty minutes into the event I was at I felt something scraping the side of my body. It hurt so bad that I couldnt even dance. I went into the bathroom to find out that there was a wire in the dress that was piercing my skin. I called back (within the seven day exchange period) to see what they can do for me. The receipt clearly said I would be able to exchange it and they refused to do that. On top of that, an employee said she would speak to the owner and call back, and she never did. I had to keep calling. The customer service is awful, and you are paying too much for a dress that isn’t worth the price. I should of just bought the dress from Jessica McClintock next door.

I stumbled into the store by accident, and bought a wonderful dress. The store has everything 30% off until Christmas, so I’m hoping to get back.
I’m not a big shopper — hate malls, and find some boutiques stuffy. This store makes me feel right at home. They have couture-​quality fashions and unique pieces. It’s hard not to buy more.

I passed Look on my way to brunch this morning, so it wasn’t yet open for the day. What caught my eye were the shoes in the window: too adorable to simply pass without a second look! The general clothing here seems to be edgier, more trendy and fashion forward than is typical of Menlo Park and I am glad to see someone giving Pink Tangerine (I really hate that store) some competition. Look’s clothing is very hip, sexy and dare I say it, a bit younger (think 20 and 30 somethings rather than 30 and 40 somethings). They carry styles that one might normally have to trek to San Francisco to find and thankfully now it’s on the peninsula.

I was in the city for a conference and needed to buy some gifts for my wife’s birthday. i was just passing by Santa Cruz ave and their display caught my eyes, i was browsing the store for a while but suddenly couple items make my interest on and stay longer then i was expecting.
I asked the price and they were reasonable, the best thing was, they told me that they have a special before i even i asked for discount,
i beleive, not only the staff were helpful but also the prices were reasonable –i was able to purchase a dress and shoes for under $ 300.
if you are new to the city and looking for a place to shop for your wife, then Look is a perfect place.
