«Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.» That’s Robert from Kanler. And if you’re a little Type A like me, it’s equally reassuring and horrifying to hear that from someone you don’t know.
The truth is, he really does handle every aspect of the job, and he does it well. We started with a few small cosmetic projects around our new house, and as the work progressed, we found some HUGE fundamental issues that needed to be addressed. Rob rolled with the punches, and ended up sticking with us for over 6 months of work. They are a managed marketplace where they put together the best construction team using their network of 100s of subs. They also provide the supervision layer from the start to the end of the project, so that I could just sit back and relax. I got all of my regular updates and questions answered through their software. For anything big, Rob was always a phone call away.
We felt confident enough in his work to hire him for our «down the line» dream project, taking over an extra bedroom and making a huge master bathroom and dressing room. That project went so well, we called him first when we had a major leak and needed a new balcony.
With every step, Rob was attentive, responsive, flexible, and most importantly, accountable. When someone tells me they’ll «take care of it,» I can bet on either hounding them to get it done, or pushing them to get it to my standards… this is one company I didn’t have to babysit, and I’m beyond grateful for that.
Basically, I’m impressed. We’ll be keeping Kanler for the long haul.

Kanler approached me when I already had decided on going with an other General Contractor, however they won me over with their project management services. I was scared my remodel would be a nightmare like some of the remodeling stories my friends told me about, but Kanler is the reason this didn’t happen on my project. They supervised the work of the other contractor from start to finish, and when hiccups arose they fixed them right away.

I had a great experience working with Kanler on my addition. They offered high quality service at an affordable price. A nice perk of working with Kanler was that I was able to monitor my project through their software at all times during construction.

After a horrible contractor experience in the past, I was really careful in picking the next contractor. The work was left unfinished and there was construction debris all over my house. After a second process of evaluating contractors for my job I decided to go with Kanler because of the quality of their previous work and the great people they had on their team.
Robert the project manager that worked on my project was great, he made sure all the work was perfect and when occasional hiccups occurred he fixed them immediately.
The end result of my home remodel is exactly how I envisioned it before I started the whole process, I would recommend Kanler to people who want a stress free remodeling experience.

They got the job done.
Our first month with them was stellar. The subcontractors they brought in were thorough, detailed and extremely polite. Then something happened. Suddenly their name (was Comfibuild) and our project manager changed and the whole remodel started going downhill. We had a project manager that rarely showed up on the project (usually only when we had a complaint) and subcontractors that did minimal (or less than minimal) work.
When we hired a subcontractor on the side (one that was no longer on our remodel) to do some minor work that wasn’t included in our contract, the company decided to bill us for it. They billed us more than double what we paid the sub.
Billing was another issue. There were a few line items added to our bill that didn’t match up with work that had been done. In one instance my husband crawled under our house to take pictures to offer evidence that things we were billed for hadn’t been completed.
This company really wanted a 5-​star review. They asked what they needed to do to get it. Unfortunately, the damage has already been done. Would we use this company again? No, not even if they offered to do the work for free.

I contacted Kanler in mid January to get a quote for my kitchen remodeling project and I was overall very satisfied. After getting bids from multiple companies, Kanler’s price range was very competitive and another thing what made me choose them over other contractors was the outstanding service I received.
From the beginning they were responsive and answered all of my questions promptly. They met the deadline they had promised and the finished result is exactly what I was expecting.
I would highly recommend Kanler to anyone that wants to remodel their house or condo, the great thing is that you don’t need to work with an architect because they provide architecture services on top of remodeling services.

We were off to a rocky start with the original person who started the bidding process with us, but ended up working with Rob, Ramin, and Denise (who has been fantastic).
We are well underway with our project and so far communication has been great and they have been transparent with pricing, progress, and changes. There have been minimal surprises so far (which is to be expected when working on a 45 year old house), since they had a number of experts come in and survey the house prior to the bid.
Denise has been amazing at designing the kitchen based on our needs and budget, and has great ideas of getting the look we want with suitable alternatives to not break the bank.
The contractors have been very considerate about working clean — which is so important to us having 2 small kids in the house. They’ve also been nice to our dogs who like to escape and run in the house while they’re working!
We can’t wait to see the final result!
