This is a guy reviewing a hair stylist. Go figure. But Holly is just amazing, and after years and years of searching for the right one I plan to stay with Holly for a long, long time. She is a great communicator, meticulous in her work and really a perfectionist about how you look. She takes her time— never gives you the feeling that she has to hurry you out to get to her next appointment.
Plus the salon where she works is upscale, comfortable and nice. Just a great vibe all around.

Holly has been cutting my hair for several years now, so clearly I am a satisfied customer! I came to Holly looking for change-​up in my hair style (I have thinning hair, so it’s tricky), and she came up with a great look which consistently gets me compliments. And it’s not a style that only looks good on that day — Holly coached me on how to keep it looking great everyday with a little hair product. I travel a lot so it has to be easy.
Holly also styles hair for my wife and teenagers, and they really like her work as well.
Holly is very professional but also fun to talk to. She has a great personal touch, and I recommend her highly.

As a relative newcomer to Menlo Park, I was lucky to find Holly quickly through friends. She is a great colorist and stylist both, and very efficient yet unhurried — great qualities when one has to spend some time in the chair!

Holly is the best! I’m a guy with longish hair, and most people who cut mens’ hair don’t exactly know what do with me. But Holly gets it! I’ve been going to her for years now and can’t imagine changing. She’s also super nice and fun to hang out with during the appointment.

I don’t even know where to start. Holly came highly recommended by some good family friends so I decided to give it a shot. I rarely get my hair done, mostly because when I do I always leave really upset or sad about how my hair looks. This time was different. Holly was prompt and on time. Usually I have to wait 15 minutes for a overlapping appointment which I hate. Holly took me at 630 not a second later which was awesome. She offered me water and we chit chatted about what I wanted. The thing I loved about holly was I was really unsure about what I wanted but she jumped right in with some suggestions. I took every suggestion she threw at me.
I got some very subtle highlights a cut and blow dry. It came out awesome. I am so happy with it. She is so professional yet makes you feel comfortable and is really funny.
I loved all the products she used and the length she cut my hair. I don’t know much about hair and salon etiquette but I do know that holly is very talented and you can tell she loves what she does… She is super creative and has awesome suggestions.
I will defiantly be back to see holly.

Holly has been cutting and highlighting my hair for over 10 years now. She has her own way of doing my sun kissed highlights that look like the sun really did it. She also makes my limp hair look bouncy and back to life when I get it cut. Can’t recommend her enough.

Thanks Holly! Got a great cut, she was recommended by another client and am not surprised by all the good Unilocal reviews. She’s easy to schedule with and really listens to what you want. I would say she is talented enough that she doesn’t just churn out people with similar looks, but she has an artistic eye and knows what will work with your style, face shape, etc. Also, she is a lovely person who is nice to speak to.

Holly has done my hair for a few years and I will never go to anyone else. She is an amazing stylist. She really takes her time and uses her expertise with cut and color! Holly’s been cutting & coloring my hair for several years and I’ve always been thrilled with the results. She’s really versatile and can give you what you are looking for, or she help you decide on something new if you’re not sure.
Sometimes I’ll ask Holly to «do whatever you think would be great, maybe a little on the blonde side» and other times I’ll have something more specific in mind, like a picture of what I would like done. Either way, Holly ALWAYS delivers.
