A Christmas event with a few things for kids to do. We went to Magical Mr. Nick’s show and had a blast at that. The rest was just meh and walking around to look at lights. The tunnel of lights was cool. The soap snow at the entrance was a nice touch.

This is one of my favorite things to do around Christmas in memphis! Highly recommend coming here, and I actually end up coming more than once. The tickets are 6 $ for members, 8 $ for non-members, and so worth it. The lights are gorgeous and the trees are epic! Especially the one right at the entrance! And oh my gosh, that awesome tunnel of lights! Plus as soon as you walk in, they have fake snow falling right at the entrance. Very few animals are left out that late, but some are(flamingos, farm animals). And the zoo always brings in a couple of reindeer just for this occasion, and they get their own exhibit. There are plenty of food options from hot coco to hot dogs, pretzels, and funnel fries. So there is no shortage of food and drink. You can easily spend several hours walking around and then grabbing a bite here. The schedule for zoo lights is available online so you can check and see when they are open. But keep in mind it is the holidays, so there is a long line to park and sometimes a long line to get in. So get some Christmas music playing in your car and try to relax and be patient about the wait. You are guaranteed to get the warm and fuzzies here people!
