love this location the staff is really nice and has great customer service.
I enjoy coming here cause the burgers and ribs are very moist and juicy.

I really like Tops. Bbq is good and burgers are some of the best in town. However I dont like this location. Something always seems off. Food is not constant. Unlike other location I go to I never quite no what Im getting. The other Frayser location is much better.

I want to like this place, I really do. They aren’t far from my house, and they always smell so AMAZING! But they are disgusting.
I ordered the small brisket sandwich with slaw on the sandwich, fries and potato salad. I took about two bites of the sandwich and threw it out. The slaw tasted old and maybe spoiled, the brisket was really fatty and smothered in this ketchup meets bbq sauce mixture. It was just not very appealing. The fries were large and crinkle cut, not my favorite but didn’t have a bad taste. The only redeeming factors in this meal were the potato salad and bucket sized large Coke, although you need to ask for light ice!

OK this was my first time trying out TOPS BBQ so I order the Half Slab to go and double beans $ 13.06 and the presentation was terrible with two hamburger buns as bread which I thought its suppose to be rolls come on now I’m not eating a hamburger sandwich. The beans look like a different color… :-(The sauce tasted mostly like mustard lucky i just used one sauce tiny cup on one side of the rib while the rest i used one of real BBQ sauce from Kroger’s. So that my first and my last visit to TOPS BBQ. Only one best in memphis and thats the «THE BBQ SHOP»

I’ve been to this particular Top’s location once. As always, the food is great. It’s what you expect from Top’s.
