May have been interested in a piece or two but being «followed» step for step was too much. Had to leave.

Just purchased a bed, mattress, and some other bedroom furniture here in the past week. Overall my girlfriend and I have been pleased. Our saleswoman was very helpful and not at all pushy. We were able to buy the bed on sale which left some room in the budget for a higher quality mattress which is the most important part to me. I felt like we were given great info that allowed us to make an informed decision. Our saleswoman didn’t push the most expensive mattress on us and was very patient while we tested out each mattress multiple times. Delivery was scheduled a week later and we received our purchase without any problems. Because of our experience I can say we will definitely shop here again when the time comes to purchase any new furniture. My advice would be to do your homework in advance and have a plan before going in the store because it is very large and I could see someone being a little overwhelmed if they were to go in without doing any preparation.

We bought a Lazy-​Boy sofa sleeper at the Great American Home Store, Bartlett. Our salesman Mr. Porter, was excellent, knowledgeable of the product and courteous. While waiting for paper work I was elbowed and pushed out of the way by another salesman, a tall grey haired man. I reported incident to the Asst., Manager, who apologized, but praised the offender as «one of our best» and said she was «surprised.» I don’t believe that this absurd, aggressive behavior from this man is anything management is not aware of. I felt like cattle pushed out of the way after spending a little over $ 1,400.00 on a product. Praising a worker who is so extreme with a customer is not acceptable and I am surely not impressed with management whom I haven’t heard from, nor the manner of apology I received. This was bazaar, and unacceptable behavior for any kind of business. It appeared to be a dog eat dog inner store environment. I’m shocked!

we hate shopping for furniture because all the salesmen seem to want to jump on you before you are even in their store good. This wasn’t the case with Bryan Porter, as he was polite, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He even said to us several times, after telling us a little about what we were looking for.-, that he would leave us to browse on our own, but he would remain close, should we have any questions. We liked him so well, we really didn’t want him to leave us, as he really knew a lot about their various products. After deciding on what we wanted, he asked many questions to see if he could get us a better price i.e.: were we military or ex-​military.
The wife & I agreed when we need furniture, we will always go first to Bryan, as he is a true professional!

I would never recommend that anyone shop here. I bought my wife a new couch and love seat. When I received the Couch my wife noticed that the middle sagged. We discovered that the frame was cracked. I called the manager of the store and he was super rude. He said «what do you want. I’ll replace it or give you your money back» He never once apologized. He only made excuses. We believe they sold us a return without properly inspecting it. They also broke my ceiling light when delivering the replacement.

We had a fantastic experience at the Great American Home Store! My husband wanted a platform for a bed with drawers, etc., researched one on the internet and one popped up for this store at a very good price. The sales person, Bryan Porter, could not have been any more cordial and non pushy. We ended up buying that unit, and a wonderful sturdy mattress, again with no pressure of a sale. Something came up where we needed to call Bryan after the purchase was made and set to deliver. He did the research and called us back quick, leaving the decision in our hands. Ask for Bryan Porter when you go — you will not be disappointed! We couldn’t have asked for a more competent salesperson!

Customer gouging at its best. Don’t be fooled by high quality because of the high prices… Check the manufacturer names and their reviews before purchasing. Plus the sales tactic inside the door is VERY off putting… ‘Hi your shopping for a bed right?!’ Ummm no we needed a kitchen island but thanks for the insult. They did the same to another couple on our way out. 2 stars for the variety of decorative items– we liked a cool 3 piece rustic wall map… Not the furniture.

This place is enormous. A very good place to go if you’re on a budget and you need a house full of furniture. They literally have everything — bedroom sets, recliners, couches, dining sets, mattresses — you get my drift. And the quality is very good for most items. I wouldn’t rate it excellent, but it will last you several years, and the styles range from rustic to modern. We went in when we were looking for a mattress — they have Tempur-​Pedics and Sealy. Another bonus — they offer purchases interest-​free for a year.
