Boo!!! I avoid this Starbucks at all costs. I drive to a Starbucks in a different location because this one is so blah. There is NEVER a place to park, and if there is a spot, you will probably get blocked it. I hate that. My drink is always made correctly, and the store is usually pretty clean. The people making drinks and taking orders are never very friendly. They are always scowling and never say more than 2 words. Every time I’ve been there, I can never find a place to sit. Sometimes, there is a spot outside. The patio is okay. If the place is busy, the line awkwardly winds through the store, and there is not a good place to stand and wait for your drink. Unless you like waiting in the bathroom, which is right by the counter. Yuck. No thank you.

Wow, I could’ve sworn I’d written a review for every Starbucks in town at this point! Anyway, there’s some downsides to this location. As everyone has noted, it’s sooooooooooo small. There’s not even a drive through. Bummer! Plus there’s hardly any parking. And given its prime location, it stays busy all day so if you can’t get in… go to a different one. However, the location itself, aside from these two downsides is great. The staff? Always incredibly friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience here. This is probably the only Starbucks in town that has a 100% success rate for me(never messed up a drink order, always has whatever I order, etc.). So that’s definitely a huge plus. Perhaps it’s the fact that they don’t have a drive-through to contend with too(I’ve worked in food service, I know how stressful it can be negotiating a drive through) but I’ve never encountered any employees who were grumpy or not super friendly. Even when they’re packed, they’re still friendly and efficient.

The parking lot is TINY! And it is always full. Always. You have to wait and then when you do park you might get trapped because people will park anywhere… even behind you. And there is no drive thru. BUT the staff is really friendly here and it is right by my office so… I pretty much go every week. Womp womp.

if you see the(microscopic) parking lot is full, TURNAWAY. You’ll regret the 20 minute wait in line and the very, very high chance of mis-made drinks. The baristas aren’t knowledgeable about drinks, judging from my past experiences ordering east-to-make and non-modified drinks(and by previous reviews). They are nice though. I only wish that could make up for the extremely slow service and bad drinks. SKIPTHISLOCATION and head right down the street to the Starbucks conjoined to the Olive Garden(it’s still on poplar 2 minutes away).

I think the biggest drawback to this location is that the parking lot is just way too small. And a drive-thru would be a plus, but of course they don’t have room for that! However, once inside, they were happy to help with my 8 drink order for the office, reading back each drink to confirm and even writing each person’s name on their cup for ease of distribution. Everything was made correctly and in a timely manner, and the office was a much happier place when I returned! Definitely one of the better Starbucks in Memphis.

The WORST Starbucks I have ever been to! The barista was very rude, but i probably could have looked past that if a single part of our order was correct. The order was 2 children’s Hot Chocolates, a Non fat Pumpkin Spice Latte, and a tall non fat Java Chip Frappuccino. What we received was 2 tall regular Hot Chocolates, a tall Pumpkin Spice Latte and a Mocha Frappuccino. I will never return to this Starbucks again, as I only visit Starbucks in the Fall anyway this probably isn’t a huge loss but it still left a bad taste in my mouth!

We had breakfast here in a pinch, good service, and very much the standard Starbucks you’d find a lot of places. As with the other in TN, it’s closer to 3.5 stars with solid friendly service.
