The service was great, the food… ehhhhhh :-/I had the rainbow trout and it left much to be desired. It wasn’t seasoned how I would have liked it to be seasoned and the potatoes tasted odd. I don’t know what they did to them, but they were not good. The carrots were shriveled up and funny looking as well. The key lime pie dessert sampler… was YUMMY! All in all, the service and ambiance was great, the food, not so much. However, since the menu is seasonal and changes often, I’d be willing to go back and try it again.

How can you go wrong here… One of the newest(slightly new) spots to hit East Memphis. Way cheaper than its big cousin that sits across the parking lot(Capital Grill), Went here for the second half of my Happy Hour. Good drinks, soo good! The service is immaculate. The manager visits the table and checks to see if everything is going good. We all know that is a biggie for me(check my other reviews) So, If you are ever in the area, stop by on happy hour, M-F, 4 – 6:30, grab some shrimp scampi, duck lollipops, and a HAWAIIANPINEAPPLECOSMOPOLITAN!!! Did i mention that they are $ 5, yes 1,23,4, 5!!! PS.Also ask for Hunter, she was the best.

It was great. The food, service, and atmosphere were amazing. The table my party reserved was not ready for about 20 minutes after our reservation, and we were given free appetizers as a result! My husband and I will definately be back!

My family has visited seasons 52 multiple times during the year and enjoyed it previously however we all felt that the service lacked through the entire meal last night resulting in our decision not to return again. The timing of everything was just off. It took over 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive and then we were never even asked during the meal if we wanted a 2nd drink. Our wine from their«flights and flats» came a few minutes AFTER the flat bread was served with no explanation.(How can it take longer to pour 2 white wine flights than bake 2 flat breads?) Our server never even asked us which wine we wanted … instead we had to flag him down to order after our mains were served. He also seemed to lack the knowledge of the ingredients within the dishes to accommodate one of our family members who is lactose intolerant. One of our entrées — the ahi tuna crunch salad — did not taste quite right and we waited for our server to return to explain but he never did. Finally when he did come by to start clearing we tried to explain that we did not want the salad because it tasted«off». When the sous chef came out she was extremely accommodating and insistent on replacing the entrée with anything else we would like plus complementary desserts for the table. It was atleast 10 minutes until our server came to another table when we flagged him down to place the replacement entrée order. Our dishes were not cleared promptly, empty wine glasses remained and dirty appetizer plates also remained on the table when the desserts were presented. The group photo and happy anniversary card from the restaurant were very nice touches, however the dining experience was disappointing.

So as a bit of a foodie, I love tasting local cuisine and this place was outstanding. Atmosphere and ambiance are fantastic. It’s a contemporary laid back and very nice restaurant. The service is fantastic. I was traveling on business so just sat at the bar and dined. The bartender was fantastic(Amber) made great recommendations and when their system showed my order, shrimp and grits, was out, she personally went to the kitchen and found out they could make it work. Traveling to the area, I wanted to try local food so this was fm very cool and appreciated. Saving the best for last… The food… Was outstanding. I was recommended to the lobster flatbread. Flatbreads are my favorite and this one didn’t disappoint. In fact I loved it and highly recommend as well. The shrimp and grits were great and I loved them. If you are in the mid-town area I highly recommend this place.

I tried Seasons for the first time last night and was not overly impressed. The food, for the most part, was good, but I wasn’t crazy about the service or atmosphere. I couldn’t help but compare it to it’s more upscale neighbor, since that’s usually where I go when I’m in the mood for a nice dinner, so maybe that’s a little unfair of me. Still… the waitress seemed overwhelmed and therefor inattentive, and I was put off by the clamor and bright lighting in the bar. And it was WAY cold in there, too! As for the food… Started with the tuna tartare app. Fine, but pretty bland. The«bread» was little sticks reminiscent of Olive Garden and on the dry/flavorless side. Not a great start, especially with the wait on service. I also had a cup of the butternut squash soup, mainly because I was SOCOLD. Another case of blandness, and the mushrooms on top were very dry. Happily, things improved with the entrée. I had the Bronzino, which is described as a whole fish, but isn’t. I wish they served it like Bari, head and bones included, but it was still a decent version. The vegetable accompaniment was unremarkable, but I tried my date’s roasted vegetables(he had the salmon) and they were yummy. I love roasted beets, and I think the golden beets on his plate were my favorite part of the meal! I opted for the scallop add-on and they were delicious. Perfectly cooked and nicely sized. However, they didn’t come out till I was halfway through my fish. The waitress offered a complimentary dessert to make up for it, and I went with the key lime shot. It was fine, but a little too sweet for my tastes. Overall, might be back to give it another try. I might like it better now that I know what to expect.

I want to give this 5 stars because if just based on the food it would be. My meal was outstanding. I had the pork tenderloin with a sweet potato mash that I literally ate as slow as I could to savor every bite. And unfortunately I had to because there just was not enough of it. I am a regular sized girl btw. My poor hubby at 190 lbs I could tell was still starving after dinner. We got no bread. Out waiter never refilled his water. We decided to get our own desserts but all they had was small shot glass desserts. They were just ok. We ordered six to help fill us up. Just wanted more options on the desserts too. Plus please give prices on your desserts, some people care. This place just cost too much for amount of food given. If they doubled portion I would have given it higher marks. My glass of Riesling was delicious. A few changes and this place could be amazing!

So this girl isn’t much of a fan of franchise restaurants but Seasons 52 is my exception. This was my go-to restaurant before movies while living in Tampa. I was super disappointed when I moved here and there wasn’t one– don’t worry, all the amazing Memphis local places made me quickly forget. But then I got the email that they were coming– my old friend was here and I went the 1st month with a group and the next alone and the next month with a friend after a movie. And it was great and consistent as ever but then I went back to going down my list of Memphis restaurants. Last week, I was training in east Memphis and decided that Seasons 52 would be a great destination for my colleague/friend’s birthday AND it was. Seasons 52 made her birthday the most delightful evening-service, food, and ambience. We had the mushrooms for our appetizer– they are a great starter. We added the kabacha squash ravioli– it’s okay to try just once. She tried the pumpkin pisco sour– yuck so switched to the pomegranate martini :). For dinner she had the salmon and I had the pork tenderloin – both perfectly prepared. For dessert they brought out the birthday shot glass dessert tower — -she got the pumpkin mini and chocolate peanut butter delight for me. Seasons 52 is the perfect experience for a girls night, date night, business lunch, or dining alone. If you live here try it —-if you don’t please try a local Memphis establishment instead.

I know this is a chain and that this isn’t a fancy restaurant. However, if you’re looking for a decent inexpensive meal served quickly this is a pretty good place to try. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly. The prices are reasonable. The multitude of dessert pie is very bad. The menu is extensive.

Good atmosphere and service, but expensive. Parking is in the nearby parking garage behind the restaurant.

NOTETOSELF: Come for lunch(it’s affordable then). I came here with a friend(her pick) and was incredibly impressed. I knew it was a fancy shmancy place the moment I arrived and was treated to complimentary valet parking. Holy crap. Usually places like this are reserved for fancy dinners or stuff like that, but I was willing to give it a try because my friend said their lunch prices were reasonable. Inside I was impressed with the wooden displays of wine and other pretty things which were aesthetically appealing. The lighting was low and gave the aura of privacy at each table, encouraging my friend and I to speak openly about all our lovely drama in life(oh if those booths could talk). Sharkey was our waiter and he was awesome(also, yes, that is his real name, and yes, it is badass). Looking at the menu, I found myself gravitating toward the bottom, as did my friend. She ordered the Grilled Chicken Caprese Sandwich and I got the Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos. Bottom line: I finally affirmed that I DO indeed like Mahi Mahi, but my friend’s chicken gave me a bit of an existensial crisis which could only be cured by figuring out the recipe for it(what is the meaning of existence if I can’t cook food that tastes THAT good?!) So I will be getting the Chicken Caprese next time(literally my mouth just watered thinking of it). Also, their mole sauce was pretty good. I’m not sure I’d eat just it, but it was still good enough that I’d eat it again. I loved their salsa verde though. They also have some duck options here and to be honest I’d be willing to try it. Lunch prices were way more reasonable than expected(though I also ended up ordering more than usual because of it) but dinner prices are way out of my price range. Dessert was also cute and you could pick from a punch of little shot glasses of yumminess for $ 2 a pop. They also have alternate menus for those with dietary restrictions(Lactose/Milk, Gluten, Sodium, Vegetarian, Vegan) which is also freaking awesome. All in all, I was so enthralled with this place I wanted this to be my 400th review instead of going in order with what I have yet to review. I will try to drag hubby here one day and will have to go find a mock recipe now, thankyouverymuch. Loved: — Grilled Chicken Caprese Sandwich(FAV and CRAVE!) Liked: — Blackened Mahi Mahi Taco — Key Lime Pie Shot Disliked: — Roasted Idaho Potato Wedges — Tamale Tots

I thought I give this place another try being that I did like the food the first time, and it truly was the service that was the problem. So I went there for dinner on Tuesday hoping that our first experience was just a fluke and I was pleasantly surprised that it was! This time their customer service was on point. Our server Ray was divine! She was friendly, and very attentive. Since they had a new menu, we ordered a few different items. For appetizers we ordered the duck wing lollipops and the grilled garlic pesto chicken flatbread. I’ve never eaten duck and they were delicious. The red chile glaze was very good. The flatbread was actually pretty good too, however I did not care for the arugula on it. For entrees, I ordered the wood grilled pork tenderloin(sweet potato mash and veggies) and my husband ordered the oak-grilled rack of lamb(mash potatoes and veggies). Now, I have to say I thought my entrée was amazing! I ate every last bite! To me it was just that good. My husband actually liked his food as well. His only comment was that they needed to add a mustard sauce to the lamb. However, he told Ray about that and she had the kitchen whip up a sauce for him. When we finished our entrees, Ray told us that we needed to see the Seasons 52 dessert presentation. Now, the first time we went, we weren’t even told about this so we said sure. I thought the presentation was great. She brought out so many delicious dessert glasses. I was like oh no, no, no I couldn’t! I have to think about the calories lol but we ended up trying two of them. We got the chocolate peanut butter torte and the belgian chocolate s’more to try. They were both good, but I really loved the s’more one! Overall, Seasons 52 you have made a fan out a me after all. Great service,(guess the first time was a fluke), delicious food and yummy dessert!!! We will be back ;)

I’ve been here a few times but this last time was with a work group of about 20. The service was good, as all of our food came out at the same time and was warm or cold where appropriate. We ordered from a dinner party menu, so we had less options to order from. I got the filet, ordered it medium and it came out nicely. It was very tender and had good flavor. I’ve had the steak from here before and this time was much better than the last. We sat in the back room past the bar, which was nice because we are an extremely loud group and we were able to shut the doors. The servers were attentive to refilling our drinks and giving us new silverware after the salad course. I love that they have complimentary valet here no finding a spot to park can sometimes be tough at this location.

Recently came here after work with a few coworkers for happy hour. Happy hour is 4 – 6:30pm Monday through Friday and it includes $ 5 small plates and reduced priced specialty drinks, well drinks, and wine. I had from the happy hour menu ahi tuna and shrimp scampi. Both were delicious! From the full menu I had the lobster and mozzarella flat bread. Another great dish! All of the food came to the table hot and promptly. I had a chance to try some of my coworker’s dish– stuffed mushrooms. Not a fan of mushrooms but the seafood that the mushroom was stuffed with was very good. On top of the tasty food and prompt service, there was entertainment behind the bar at 6pm. A piano playing singer added a nice touch to the restaurant. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience– great food, good drinks, and nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

The concept is awesome. Everything on the menu is under 475 calories. It’s a pricey restaurant. The décor is fancy. They had live music. There is a bar. For some reason, I noticed that ordering a drink at the bar was almost $ 2 more than at the table, even though I ordered the same thing. They have a shrimp and mushroom appetizer that is great. Everything else was rather bland to me. I had the lamb, and it was just ok. I tasted the salmon, which was good. The vegetables were almost totally unseasoned. Our service was good. All the food looked good, but the taste just wasn’t there.

After perusing Target, a friend and I decided to stop in for lunch. The place was warm and inviting and we were promptly seated in a booth. Love the concept of fresh seasonal food and the fact that every dish is less than 475 calories. But if the food isn’t amazing, then what’s the point? My friend and I shared a bowl of the mushroom bisque(they split it into 2 small cups which was great) and the ahi tuna tartare. The tartare was the best part of the meal. It was beautifully presented with a delicious pineapple guacamole on the bottom. Having had great apps, the entrees were disappointing. My friend had the cedar-plank roasted salmon. It was pretty flavorful and my friend said that she would order it again. I had the flat iron steak and it was was not good at all! Basically it was a 3 pieces of dry beef smothered with a gazillion sautéed mushrooms, horrible. The waiter was also a bit rude and gave us the check without even asking if we wanted dessert, and for the record, I always want dessert! I probably wouldn’t voluntarily go again, but if I had to, I’m only going for the company and the tartare.

One of my exes swears this is the best restaurant in the world. He has good taste(obviously), so I gave this place three tries. And I just kept waiting to «get it.» Well, I was never blown away. The food was fine and I get that it is seasonal… and therefore«healthy»? But the service was never on point. I’ve sat at a table, in a booth, and at the bar… and every time it was just A-OK. Nothing bad… but nothing really that great either. However, it is definitely a safe bet. Especially for a business lunch or dinner. Oh, and I really like their valet. That always makes me feel fancy. So I guess I feel the same way about Seasons 52 that I do about my ex… really nice, kinda boring, mom approved, just not my thing.
