I literally could not make up in my most wild dreams how horrible my experience was with this company. I have two window AC units for very modest home. In the mid of may, I had some family coming to stay with me, and I wanted them to be comfortable. Because the units were not quite blowing cold air, I figured it was time to get them services and have the freon levels checked. I called these guys, and they gave what seemed like a fair price. They told me it would take ONE business day to have them delivered back to my door. They came and got my units, and a few days went by. I called them, politely asked about my units. They said, tomorrow at such and such time. So I did not go to work the next day and waited on them. Nothing. I called again that Friday. The man was apologetic and said he would have them to me Monday if he had to drive them over himself. Monday comes. Nothing. No word. Called again and said, «tell me what I need to do to get my units back.» By this time my family has been with us, we are sweating. He said, «when can we drop them off, what time is good.» We agree on a time when my wife will be home. She does not go to work waiting on these clowns. She calls them after the time they were supposed to be there and they lie and say, «we were waiting on you.» Call them again next day. Again I ask, as sternly as possible without being an asshole, «can you please tell me what I need to do to get my window units back?» They say, «we won’t have time today, can you do tomorrow morning?» I say yes, 9am. 11 am, no units. They call and say, «we are on the way, be there in 15 minutes.» An hour passes. I call the driver. I explain to him this is the third day I have not gone to work because I was sitting around waiting. The driver gets mad at me on the ohone. I ask if he can have his boss call me. He says, «you call him.» I call him. I am angry at this point. He keeps trying to cut me off, I have to raise my voice because he will not let me finish a sentence. For the third time I ask him, «you said you would deliver them yourself 2 days ago – what do I have to do to get my units back?» He says they are on their way. They should have given me the units for free. Instead they try to to charge 90 $ extra for an «installation fee,» meaning slide the u it’s back in the metal case. I say just give me the units. No apology. Nothing. We are only talking about a couple hundred dollars. But I work for myself doing contract work. My family missed three days of work waiting. The guy promised he would have them to me, if he had to drive them over himself. No honor, no character. If a person has not his or her word, what do they have. Maybe my money was chump change to them. But they tell me one business day, it took them a week and a half. What a joke…

We contacted Morgan HAC a few weeks back when our main window AC quit working. We were quite anxious about where we would go to replace it, as we are both seniors on a fixed income, so this was a major decision for us. We were also looking for delivery and installation,(if we could afford that) as we are both physically disabled. We chose an 18000BTU reconditioned Sanyo unit, and I must say regarding the company and the product: this has been one of the best decisions we have made in recent years. The guys who came to install were on time, super friendly; worked quickly, but stayed long enough afterwards to reassure me that the unit was working well once installed. The unit easily cooled the 3 rooms we were hoping it might, and is the BEST window AC I have ever owned; comparable to having central air, with thermostatat settings, and energy saving settings, plus much more. We are just beyond pleased with the product and the company, and would not want to use anyone else in the future. We are actually glad our old unit broke down, now… oh; and the price was extremely reasonable, as well, even with delivery and installation! Would recommend them to anyone, and have… call these guys… you won’t regret it!
