Midtown Eye Care

I switched to Midtown Eye Care (at first begrudgingly) when my former eye care clinic Eclectic Eye stopped being covered under my insurance. I’ve come to love MEC just as much. They are always super timely. I’ve never had to wait. I walk in and am immediately seen. You gotta love that! Staff is very professional and proficient. I also like that they remain on the cutting edge of the latest technology. Seems like they have a new doodad every year. If you know anything about the machine that blows that annoying and jarring puff of air in your eye to test for glaucoma, etc… well that’s gone and has been replaced with a totally painless apparatus that offers a more accurate digital image of the inside of your eye socket. My vision is not worsening which lets me know the prescriptions are accurate. Highly recommend MEC if you’re seeking an eye doctor/​optician.

I have been visiting this eye center for two years now. I used to visit an vision retail center in the mall and always felt that my prescription and glasses were a little off. This office really works to ensure Eye health and to make sure you have the best corrective option for your lifestyle. Service is fast and the staff/​doctors are amazingly personal! I would gladly recommend this place to anyone in need of glasses or contacts.
