I made the switch to Happy Day because they seem to be the only dry cleaners downtown. Apparently, each location sends their clothes to a central location (maybe the midtown location?) to be cleaned, and then they send them back at the end of the day. Every time I have my clothes cleaned at Happy Day, thye come back with a strange odor. Also, the three sweaters I’ve had «dry cleaned» there have come back smaller. They’re obviously putting them in a dryer, despite my requests to DRY CLEAN ONLY. Three sweaters ruined — and they were not cheap sweaters! Not so Happy Day after all. I’ll be taking my business back to Mercury Valet in midtown, even if it is out of my way.
