A pavilion (museum exhibit) located directly across the campus from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the world renowned cancer treatment hospital for children from all over the world.
Interactive exhibits, video, displays, photographs, etc. chronicle how Danny Thomas first came up with the idea to create the hospital, after making a promise to St. Jude to «show him the way» before he became a famous movie star. Keeping his promise years later after becoming famous, he founded the world renowned children’s cancer research hospital where no child ever pays for any treatment.
St. Jude is an amazing place with an amazing story. This place will touch your heart. :)

This pavilion is located on the St Jude campus and tells the life and history of the hospital and it’s founder Danny Thomas. If features items and awards from his career and humanitarian endeavors with the hospital.
It’s definitely worth a visit to learn more about this amazing hospital and see the amazing building. It’s a self guided tour so it takes as long as you want it to take depending on how much you read and view the items. Be sure to call before you go because sometimes it is closed for special events.
