Can’t comment on the food honestly. Didn’t even get that far. Call 1 — rang and rang Call 2 — rang and rang Call 3 — busy Call 4 — busy Call 5 — rang and rang Screw this place! If you can’t even answer your phone to take an order, then I’m left to assume that you don’t give a damn about anything else to do with the business. New China just got my business.

They have changed the way they cook the food. This use to be one of my go to spots. I’m not so willing to eat here now. Most of the orders are ToGo now. Even if you eat in the restaurant you still get a Styrofoam container or plate.

What a fall from the old days at this restaurant! Thanks to Styrofoam plates, no more table service, AND the way they have substantially changed their food. What the heck??! They had a great model of service and satisfaction for the last 20 years. I guess they failed to make the right moves within their changing business environment. Too bad. Nice people who have poured their lives into this business and now they are losing their base. I will try them again… but only one more chance. They would have one star, except their hot and sour soup still rocks!

This use to be a fairly good place to eat. Last few times there is was dirty and outdated. The quality of food has also changed. If you order the fried dumplings please give the proper amount of cooking time. I ordered, the wait was 20 minutes however my dumplings were very undercooked, Raw.

Some of the best Chinese in Memphis. All fresh, no heat-lamped buffet leftovers here, no sir! Friendly staff, good food. Service and setting are casual.

Massive portions. I had the General tso’s chicken dinner. Comes with a huge amount of not very good brownish rice with egg trying to be passed of as fried rice. Won ton soup which surprisingly enough is quite tasty, and an egg roll that tastes better than most. The size of the main dish is enough for three people. Being that I’m about the size of a small moose I cannot polish all of this off in one sitting. Its not bad but its not general tso’s chicken. At least not like I’m used to. Very sweet no spiciness at all and decorated with orange slices(a lot of them). Making me think they got my order wrong and brought me orange chicken instead. After cutting the massive nugget in half and attempting to not get the very sticky sauce all over me I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. Would of liked the spicy that normally comes with the sweet, but for 7.99 how can more than a dinner for two be beat. After finishing I was worried I might now have diabetes, but who doesn’t almost have diabetes nowadays anyway.
