Back Yard Burgers

It’s a back yard burgers. The chicken sandwiches are very good and the waffle fries are good as long as they are hot.

I went to this location because my favorite on Poplar has been closed. I was hungry and wanted to eat inside. The service was friendly, but many other factors left me really missing my old BYB.
Unfortunately, the cook didn’t pay attention to our ticket. He prepared only one of the two sandwiches on order. So one burger sat there getting cold while he prepared the other.
The restaurant is in need of a total overhaul. The wallpaper is literally falling off the walls in several places. The restroom was not very clean either.
The self-​service drink bar was in need of a good scrubbing. The water spigot has so much dried gunk on it, I could hardly stand to look at it. it looked as if it had not been wiped down in a week. The drink preparation counter surface was covered in tea and straw wrappers. I understand that people make spills, but form the front door to the restrooms in the back, no one seemed to be responsible for keeping the restaurant clean.
Skip this location, I’ve seen much cleaner BYBs.
