Memphis was not ready for this store!!! Doorman greeted me as I walked in, and a couture ambiance embraced me! High end, runway designer labels fill this store from top to bottom. I didn’t even get a chance to take all of it in because I was overwhelmed by the designer rags I was touching! OK back to the service… was greeted by a middle age lady very nice and helpful. Showed me around the store and was introducing me to designers I have never heard of… so a long story short, in the midst of looking at pieces, she said, well this section is runway and starts at $ 2000!!! And I was like, OK can I still look at them??? #sideeye …I did not want to play the race card with her on that, so I left it alone and looked at other pieces. So was she implying because of how I looked (race, appearance) that I could not afford it???
It did not hit me till I got home that she kind of profiled me. But never the less, I love the store and she was soooo nice before and after that happened!!! So I forgive her and will be back!!!

What a beautiful store! Everything you see is beyond spectacular… similar to Joseph’s but the staff here is very friendly. I am genuinely surprised that they are located on Broad, but I love Broad, so… works for me! They have a security guard out front and I kept my hands very close to my body as I was terrified to move because I didn’t want to break anything (clumsy is my middle name) because everything is incredibly expensive. Just know that when you’re going in.
There is always a Porsche parked out front, I’m assuming it belongs to the owner, and the whole store is surprising for Memphis… but they carry designers, which is why my mom loves this place… and why I’m glad my mom buys when we go there.
