So far, so good. I’ve been 3 times now and the pizza was delicious and the service was great. The people are so friendly, the restaurant is well kept, parking isn’t too bad.
I live in Medford, but the pizza here isn’t that great, so I’ll keep driving over to Melrose when I want something yummy.

I have lived in Melrose for 36 years and this was my go to pizza place. NOT ANYMORE!!! I got a large meatball pizza and a large sausage pizza and it was disgusting. It was burnt… lacked sauce and it is not the quality I am used to at this place. I called to inform the owner about my dissatisfaction w the pizzas. He told me that the «they were very busy and that the oven was too hot.» I paused to see what else he had to say and he said nothing. No offer to remake the pizza, money back etc. I even told him I wasn’t coming back and still no offer to gain my business again. There are plenty of pizza places in Melrose. I refuse to go back here! I will go to a place that isn’t «too busy with a too hot oven.»
Don’t waste your time… unless you like burnt pizza and rude customer service.

I ordered Melrose speciality pizza and large ordered of buffalo wings, both the pizza and wings were soggy. The big disappointment was the wings were breaded!!! Very bad I will never order from this place again!

Picked up a small Italian cold cut sub last night, toasted, with onions, pickles, tomatoes. Always good, never disappoints. Quality of the meats, cheese, and toppings. .. and the bread! Maybe the toasting is the secret. Clean and friendly.

Yummy food. We had a pizza and buffalo chicken strips. The man who helped us was super nice and bright of food to us and it was piping hot! If I lived near here, I would definitely come here again! The menu is huge and they are happy to make it the way you like it!

We order delivery from Melrose House once or twice a week. They’re always friendly and the food is always delivered in between 30 – 45 minutes, depending on how busy they are.
They make a great Greek style pizza and good subs too! This is our go to pizza place.

Easy to miss among the similar places on Main Street, this is definitely worth a visit. Pizza here gets the job done better than the chains, but obviously it’s not brick oven or North End or NYC caliber. Service is very friendly, especially for a basic local pizza/​sub shop. I heard one worker on the phone apologizing for no soup today but promising a free cup for the caller next time. Amazingly, the chicken Caesar wrap was freshly made — as in they went and grilled new chicken upon placing my order and served it steaming and juicy 5 minutes or so later. Oh, and they brought it over to my table. After chowing down, I paid and they thanked me for what must have been the 5th time I was there. For a blue-​collar Greater Boston spot, this is quite an achievement. I’ll be back.

I love Melrose House. Great calzones. Good/​excellent Greek style pizza. The owner is very nice and helpful. Eat-​in is casual but comfortable with booth seating.

We ordered some pizza and subs when we were moving in this weekend. I was so impressed! Not only was the staff unbelievably friendly, and I mean super friendly, the food was incredible. This is the best pizza I’ve had since I moved from NY last year, no joke. I can’t wait to order more regularly.

We’ve been looking for a local pizza place for a while and up to now, we’ve been disappointed by the bland, flavorless pizzas we’ve gotten. Last night we decided to give Melrose House of Pizza a shot and boy were we pleased! The sauce and cheese had so much flavor! The price was right and the customer service was on point– the gentleman answering the phone and manning the cash register was very pleasant. I only gave 4 stars because the crust left a little to be desired, I think it could be improved with a thin coating of oil. Nevertheless, we’ll be back!

This is a truly good pizza and calzone experience. I order our pizzas well-​done, and the owner actually listens and respects that! The pizzas have a thick crust with a flaky outside, and the calzones are crispy and HUGE (more than enough to feed two people). The marinara sauce is simple and delicious, and they have tons of ingredients so you can create whatever style pizza you want. Also the man who runs MHOP is super nice. I can’t wait to try their gyro.

Only two stars cause let’s be real it’s a typical «house of pizza».
Typical Greek pizza that’s good when you eat one slice but nasty when you go for two.
The steak n cheese is terrible, I’m not even sure if it’s beef or horse.
I won’t be going back.

Of all the pizza dough I’ve tasted, this place is the best.
Big family was here for vacation this summer and we ate in and took out from this place. The pizzas were hot and had plenty of toppings. The canzone my wife and I ordered was the Buffalo chicken one. Oh my God, that was delicious! And HUGE!
We enjoyed all the different pizzas we had too.
The prices are very reasonable, the sizes are big, and the staff friendly. Can’t beat all that.

This is a decent, Greek-​style thick pizza with a sweet sauce and a very nice crunchy crust. Caesar Salad was plentiful. Good if predictable variety of drinks, chips and non-​pizza entrees at ok prices for a Boston burb.
Friendly service. Ordered in and pizza was brought to the booth, though it seemed to take exceptionally long for a small cheese pie when no one else was in the house. (Of pizza). A perfectly fine, clean, friendly pizza joint on Main Street, with free parking on street (take out) or in rear (dining in).
One note — if there was a bathroom for customers, it must have been behind the pizza ovens because there was no loo in sight and no restroom sign in the house. Of pizza.
